So I have given this place 4 tries because it's so close to home and I was excited to see it opening and prefer to support local. First time , so very good (chicken teriyaki)... Second time, eh (chicken teriyaki), Third time, ordered a fried sushi roll and it tasted like grease and was coated in this mayo/yum yum sauce and I couldn't eat it... Fourth time ordered chicken teriyaki and sushi. Chicken Teriyaki wasn't bad, but seemed different from the first few times we had it, no consistency. Sushi philly roll was good, but warm because it was bagged with the hot food. Please put your hot and cold items in different bags, it kinda grossed me out.
My first visit to Wasabi Express was yesterday. I ordered chicken teriyaki, egg roll and a sushi roll. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. It took about 20 for me to get there. I found that the sushi (which should be kept cold) was packed in the same bag as the hot items. The hot food was VERY tasty and I would give 5 stars except for the fact about the sushi. I will go back again despite this problem
The food tastes bland and nasty, the noodles were so mushy someone with no teeth could easily eat them, the chicken tasted old and I found a grey/brown clump of something in my rice and instantly got sick!! I have never experienced a restaurant like this someone has to investigate what they are cooking because I will never spend another dollar at this place!
very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. we needed more restaurants in that spot! the veggie roll is a little more than I normally pay but it is bigger than others and very filling, and hibachi is HUGE portions for price. I would just like to request more veggie options as I cannot have seafood sushi. i would love to try an avocado roll or peanut avocado here, and I adore green salad with ginger dressing.
Spicy tuna roll was good, but it was 75% cucumber. Which it didn’t say it on the menu on the website, cucumber is just culinary fluff, no taste and boringStill 5 star, but probably won’t be back, sushi selection is meh, I like simple taki maki or nigri, there selection are over complicated hiding the ingredients.
They need to get their act together. The place was loaded with people just sitting there waiting for their orders while other orders sat stacked on the counter unclaimed. The online ordering system doesn't represent the actual wait time. And they left an entire meal out of our order. Didn't notice until we got home. And they don't know how to process a refund. Convenient!The food was just about what you would expect for the price. The fried rice is bland and the "steak" is better described as "beef". The spicy tuna rolls are anemic, both in size and appearance. The tuna was more grayish than pink and it was warm, though it wasn't a cooked roll. I have to imagine the health department is going to have an issue with that.There are WAY better options. Skip this one!
This is our 2nd time ordering here. Food has been awesome! Place is very nice and clean. Their portion of food is plenty. Glad to have Wasabi express so close to us!

Ordered 3 Sushi rolls ( BP roll, Spicy Tuna and a dragon roll ) everything about the Sushi is perfect. ) However, on the BP roll just lighten up on the Mayo.Restaurant quality Hibachi. Top tier Shrimp, perfect Lol Mein... Deff very satisfied with this place and I hope it stays this way. I also got the Ocean and Onion Soup.... Wow...both were perfectly made. Extremely happy with the experience.The only thing I would work on is getting the customers name and telling us the price for a phone pick up order.Excellent sushi. Rice was pristine.
the people are so so nice and our food came out super quick! i got fresh sushi and it was amazing they also have such a large selection of many other foods!
