Very cool place. More for drinks and snacks than dinner.
We were not informed that the vault was closed. We showed up for our reservation and weâre informed it was not possible.
Be careful. They list one liquor on the menu then pour a different one in your drink. When I asked about it they said it was a printing error and the bartender said she had been requesting the reprint them fir a long time.
now this place a true hidden gem. so amazing to go through this place and have a drink We absolutely loved this place. The staff are super friendly and take excellent care of you. We were fortunate enough to have had a little tour of the famous speak easy in the back ...it was fabulous
Have a drink or bite in Cleveland's oldest vault. It's located underground, you access it by going into the Metropolitan hotel and pressing the B1 floor for the elevator. It's actually a big space and can easily accommodate 100+ people. There are different, little rooms (that used to be bank vaults) that you can sit in with your friends for a more private atmosphere. I got a mocktail and the bartender made me something delicious, sweet, fruity, and tropical-inspired. I wanted to try their mac and cheese bites but they were unavailable. So, I think, in the end, I was only charged $3.75 for my mocktail, which is insane because I'm from California and a mocktail at a place like this is always at least $10. Definitely worth the trip to come here for a drink, to hang out, or just browse the history and old vault doors.
Got id’d two times first server came to our table and didn’t even ask for service said he and another worker were bouncing back and fourth. Then they look at our ids come back and say it’s just policy then come back once more to say can we actually have your ids to scan. Then come back and discuss it with us offer free drinks. Then after 30 minutes we’d had enough and just left little respect for there guest two careless individuals. Both servers were very careless and had no respect.
Interesting underground spot. Recommend for a date even.
This is my 2nd time here and I STILL love it. My friend and I went to celebrate her promotion at her new job and we thought it was simply a magnificent visit. The staff were friendly, the drinks were delicious, the ambience is everything and honestly, who doesn't want to hang out in a vault!? I did my manifestation in one of the vaults, lol. I feel so exquisite whenever I step foot into this establishment. I will never get enough and I promise myself to visit each time I'm in Cleveland. You will not be disappointed, I promise.
I came in with high expectations but was met with tragedy. The bartender made me a “special drink” but unfortunately it was just vodka and all the citrus flavored juices. So I instead asked for an espresso martini, it was the worst espresso martini I’ve ever had. The bartender was definitely just free styling because the martini had no cream or espresso in it. Definitely not returning
