patio always makes me feel like I'm not near busy city streets. delicious food and drink + kind, sweet staff!
Toast has consistently excellent food, servers, and bartenders. They never disappoint on any front, and make a concerted effort to ensure the safety and comfort of their patrons.
This place has very nice vibes, but the food was fairly mediocre & the service was just very ok.

I've been to Toast a few times in the past several years and have generally had positive experiences. However, about a week ago a friend and I tried to go there, and we walked to a podium saying to wait there to be seated. We stood there for about 15 minutes without anyone helping us. We tried to get the attention of the three employees walking in and out of the bar area (maybe 20 feet away from where we were standing), but they seemed to be avoiding acknowledging us. There were about 10 people sitting inside, and the patio was about half full. Just a "we'll be right with you" would have made a big difference. Eventually, we just left and went to Il Rione. Generally, I like Toast, thus the 4 stars. I'm basically just posting this in the hopes that someone who works there sees this so they can improve upon it for other people who go there in the near future.
My favorite patio in Cleveland. The farm-to-table food is outstanding as is the wine list. Most recently I enjoyed an outstanding Rosé Prosecco.

WOW! We got there pretty late right before the kitchen closed and were seated on their beautiful patio right away. The food was incredible, served fast, and with some of the most unique dishes I've ever seen in Cleveland. The half portion sizes were great too; it's nice to not have to order a huge main dish after appetizers. The number of vegan options for my lactose-free boyfriend was also a huge plus. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower, frites, ratatouille fettuccine, and Mexican elote risotto (pictured here). Everything was outstanding!
The drinks are great !!! Haven't tried the food yet but am definitely trying it the next am there!
