Stopped in at the Clevelander and experienced the rudest female bartender ever. Short brunette with a terrible attitude. When we first approached the bar, she was clearly overwhelmed. My buddy said hello and she walked away. So then two seats opened up in the middle of the bar and we moved to sit down. She came over and appeared to be ready to serve us, and my buddy being a local hotel executive who visits all the time says nice to see you again. Out of nowhere she goes off - can’t you see I’m busy? You saying hello isn’t going to get you served any faster. This Bartender went from zero to 100 in a flash. So now no one from his luxury hotel will be advised to visit there ever again. And his employees have been instructed never to recommend the Clevelander again. Be careful of who you’re rude to when your in the service industry.

Definitely, the B and C word describes this girl. So now no one from his luxury hotel will be advised to visit there ever again. Plenty of patio seating. They let us have our dog. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive.Their wings were the best wings I’ve ever had.

This bar has good food, but could be organized better. I don’t understand why they don’t have servers and people have to seat themselves, walk to the bar to order and walk back to the bar to check on/pick up my food. This time i was outside, so I had to walk back into the bar several times and still got no food. I just ended up canceling my food, drank my beer and left. There are people sitting at the bar and so, if you want to order anything, you have to stand behind those people, crowding the aisle. The bartender with the short, blonde cut is wonderful! The shorter young lady with the curly hair…not so much.

Terrible service and discrimination from the long hair brunette behind the bar . I was continuously looked over it took quite a while just for a double of patron and thats when I noticed it was purposely done . The brunette had a conversation with the guy behind the bar (part African American) and they switched lol... The nachos would have been bomb if they were hot but yet I guess when the food came up it sat until our entrée was done:( . READ THESE WORDS I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PREJUDICE PLACE AGAIN! You notice I can't even add their names why because they omitted that info all night .

i live right across the street so the Clevelanderbis one of my go to spots. the food is amazing, the bartenders are always so kind and the vibe is a perfect mix of a younger and older crowd. I take my family here to visit and they love the atmosphere and amazing, food. Their pickles and philly egg rolls are top notch. Can’t go wrong with a fry basket, and their salads are so good. ? favorite cleveland hangout

It’s kinda late in Cleveland and we are looking for a place to eat downtown. We wander into the Clevelander around 11pm. The place is hopping for a late Wednesday night. We ask Lauren the bartender if the kitchen is still open and she says it is. Did I mention it is hopping? Because Lauren is a whirling dervish behind the bar. She never seems to forget an order and is super friendly to every customer, even us, who are from out of town. My wife orders a Cobb salad and proceeds to tell me how good the chicken on the salad is. That would be Devin, who is the cook. In most establishments, the food quality can tail off closer to closing time but not here. I would highly recommend The Clevelander. Say high to Lauren for us if you do drop in.

Sarah was one of the best bartenders we've ever had! Being from Seattle and Dayton, she helped us navigate what else to do and see.. She made killer Manhattans and even cut up cucumber for our gin & black pepper. The perogies were excellent, I recommend adding Sriracha to the sour cream. We had the best time there on Friday.

Stopped here while in town for a concert on 1/23/22 and had a super disappointing experience. Slow and inattentive service. All the bartenders were rude and stand-offish. One of the bartenders was clearly hammered drunk. Employees were hanging out at the bar, harassing customers with clearly no supervision in the building. Won't return.

Best bar in America. My friend Matt and I come all the time. We love the bartenders Katlyn, Kenzie, and Brendan 5 stars! No ?!
