I've gone to Tapatias a few times now, and again it's more so a place will get a great review if my son enjoys it. Yes, he enjoys it. He loves the children's burrito and always finishes the whole thing. No he's not a picky eater, and that is the beauty of it. If He does love your food, it has to be good. Because he'll quickly admit if it isn't. But aside from that, their tacos are double shelled and they stuff them, and the prices are not bad at all (even now), you order your tacos (if you choose tacos) and you put your own toppings on. And there's quite a few to choose from.
The pastor style meat is served with pineapple chunks in it, which is not my favorite. I ordered the pastor quesadilla and besides the chunks of pineapple the overall flavor was good. I also ordered the combo of 2 tacos plus rice and beans. The tacos were good, but the rice and beans serving size was so small that, in my opinion, its not worth my money to get the combo. I should have stuck with the tacos alone. Overall okay but not excited to go back.
Excellent food, drinks and service. I love that the taco toppings are located in a buffet and you can add as much or as little, as you like! 2 taco lunch special and an imported beer for $15, tax included - can't beat that.

I stopped by because I was down at the marina fishing amd was craving some Mexican food. I was stoked that they offered both lengua (cow's tongue) and tripa (cow's stomach) as a protein option. I ordered a burrito with a mix of both and asked them to make it extra spicy. Boy did they deliver!! First of all, the burrito was the size of a small infant amd stuffed full of deliciously prepared meat with excellent spiciness. They added slices of habanero peppers inside and drizzled the delicious salsa verde over the burrito. ? I'll definitely visit again.
Homemade corn tortillas are amazing! Food came out fast and delicious, super flavorful. The salsa bar was packed with a variety of options to top off your plate. Guac here is superb!!
Went there recently on a non busy night. The food was excellent but the service was not even close to being even respectable. I had to get up to get my own napkins and silverware. Not an extra set or a double but the one and only that my children I used. When I mentioned this to the server, she responded with a very flippant attitude and didn’t even bother to respond. I love the food and have visited twice and ordered online but I don’t know if I would ever go back.
The carne asada tortas are amazing! And even better are their pina coladas!
Very good Mexican restaurant. Fast service. There is a good taco bar. You can customize your own tacos. Not expensive
I could eat one of their barbacoa tortas every day for the rest of my life and not get tired of them.
