If I could give this place no stars I would. I worked here in need of a job badly till I found out there was a mice infestation in the kitchen. They do not wear gloves and touch every thing, raw meat, dirty dishes and cooked food without washing. I was told their health inspector gets paid to help the inspection get passed on by.This place needs to be shut down! So many violations and no one is doing anything about it.
Me and my wife stopped in for some quick grub on a Monday night. Surprised to see the dining room was packed, with phones ringing off the hook. Despite the mad rush, the food came out hot and in a hurry - whoever was in back was clearly putting in effort. Lawrence up front was an absolute machine, juggling the phone, the register, and a full house of tables nonstop. All with an excellent attitude and crazy efficiency - rare these days.Great meal, great price, great people. We can't wait to go back.
In the past I have never had issues coming to Steve's Diner. However today was completely different. A staff who I've never seen before was rude and incompetent. Not only did they never contact me to let me know my pick-up order was ready, they then forgot half of the order. And while I was in there was another couple who was missing items from their order as well. The lady on staff said she never heard them say hot dogs and never rang them up, proceeded to tell her coworker to charge them for hot dogs, and then take her word back and say to check the order to see if she did forget them. All while the man handling the order for me and my girlfriend, proceeded to call her a skinhead and brag about some cross necklace he made. I will never be getting anything from Steve's Diner until the staff is changed and I don't recommend anyone either
I grew up eating Steves Hotdogs as a kid when they were on w 50th st in Cleveland. Although the chilli is different they are still pretty good I would’ve given 5 stars if they used beef hotdogs like the old Steves hotdog inn
Went in with my nephew, spent under $20 for both our meals. The restaurant itself could use some love- like a professional deep cleaning, new booth seats, and a fresh coat of paint on the walls. No kids menu but that’s okay because everything was pretty cheap. The food was really good, but the service wasn’t the best. The lady could’ve just been more personable, but she was nice. I only tipped really well because of the holidays. I might go back again to see if the quality of the food is the same next time.
How is this place still open? There's a picture circulating on FB of a customer taking a picture of a rat hanging around above the ceiling ledges. Apparently this isn't their first rodeo. Absolutely disgusting.

Food was hot. Customer service was pretty low. Just a spot to grab a burger and not be asked how things are. Eat, shut up and leave type place. Old women would yell on the phone at customers. It was pretty funny. Seats wear pretty busted. Coffee splashes on the wall with a little bit of ketchup and syrup mixed in. Definitely wont be returning anytime soon unless drunk let's keep it at that. It's a 24 hour spot.

Food is good... But one of the people that work there is the most Disrespectful person I have seen in a while likes to get your order wrong over the phone and when you go to pick it up And the order's wrong and goes I tucked the order that's not what you said If you go in there and eat and you have a white girl with a tattoo on her upper Chest take your order your butter check it And watch out she loves the lie
