We love Spotted Dog food. Always had great service. Tonight the ball was dropped. Took 20 mins to be acknowledge to get a drink(maybe 8 at the bar). Never mind the big sigh and eye roll as we sat down AND still wasn't told Hi. 1 hour for food. okay Its a Friday night we understand. Our fries were soggy a cold. chicken tenders cold. wings cold. It def was sitting up there waiting a while to be brought out. We said something she said it was our fault for going outside for 5 mins. We know the difference between food sitting for awhile before being served. Extremely disappointed. We will be back but maybe when someone else is working.
Been going here for the last 4-5 years never had an issue. best cooked wings in Cleveland and decently priced drinks. this is forsure the local watering hole for 60% of the customers but its a comforting vibe.
After a previous awful experience we decided to give it another try. That was a mistake.
Very Excellent On Everything?
Best little hidden "dive gem" on the west side owned by local Firemen. This is the bar where no one knows your name or cares to know it other than the bartender (Karla is great too) and you can a have few drinks and something to eat in peace. Furthermore the price of everything has gone up drastically within the last year and so many things have changed that have left people feeling uneasy but one thing in this neighborhood has remained the same for 50 years and that's The Spotted Dog. It's unbelievable that in 2021 they haven't raised their prices on food or drinks. People in this neighborhood appreciate that more than you know. I don't where else can I get food and a few drinks for $23! Thank you for caring about the little people who live and work nearby.
Awesome hole in the wall bar. Very good prices and the food was great. Only bottled beer and liquor nothing on tap. We like to go after riding at rays it right around the corner.
Came for 7$ steak dinner, then fries and green beans was the business. Good cheap drinks I think I found my new bar. Very spacious and has a pool table
Really really good food, love Glenda in the kitchen and Jen in the bar! Those gals are the only ones I know so far but this place is great to take a break and enjoy your time! Feels really safe place to chill at and they have a great music box and pool table. Thank you!
