Found this spot last minute as I took my mother out for breakfast. Could not have asked for a better meal with better service. A few days later I went back with some coworkers. This is going to be my go-to breakfast spot from now on. Priced reasonably, amazing portions, the servers are hilarious and very kind. Very thankful for the love they put into their food.
Super friendly staff and nice, small-town vibes. Ordered an omelette with grits and hash browns, which was all absolutely delicious.Portion sizes are big and prices are great.
Something has changed at this place. New management, new cook or something. Been eating here for years and the food was always delicious. Last couple times I have had to throw most of the food away. Omlet was nasty and undercooked. The beef sausage tasted old and spoiled or something and the grits had a taste that made me almost gag. How can you mess up grits? Maybe they reused old grits I don't know. The only thing edible was thehome fries, beef bacon and toast. The rest I threw out.

Went to Shays for some ? breakfast. It's was soo good. I have the option of getting grits or potatoes. I could get half and half. That was the best ever.. for the same price. The omelet was meaty and cooked perfectly. Yup.
Great grits and eggs. Things just seemed under cooked or over cooked. Service not good. But recieved tip anyway. We was a group of 10.
It maybe a hole in the wall, but has steady traffic and stayed busy. Though even though it was busy, the food came out in under 10 minutes. The staff is super friendly and ensuring that the food taste good. It cost $23 for the two of us. The food was very filling and just as delicious. I would highly recommend this spot if you can get past the interior, because it’s worth sitting down and enjoying the food.
Service was very welcoming. Spot to definitely check out...... And if you don't eat pork they cook their meat on a separate grill from rest of food very impressive not lots of restaurants I been to have that option.. Great teamwork ?...Keep up the Good Work Everyone.
