This is the best Asian food I've had in my life. I've traveled the world. We ordered everything about $65 bucks a head with an appetizer, drinks and a tip but again the best food you'll have in that category.
The food was good, but the service was really bad. It took a long time to get any service. We ordered a drink that never arrived. Korean BBQ places traditionally bring unlimited sides, but that's not the case here.Looking forward to the owner claiming this review is fake. Included a photo of our finished plates for proof we were there.
Generous portions. Very authentic food and kind waitress Jessica let us know all about the dishes she was serving and educated us on the side dishes. Food was delicious!!! Definitely would come again when I visit Cleveland. Also COVID safe as they check your temperature. You won't find another place that cares for their customers as much as Rising Grill ?
The food is absolutely amazing but you have to be patient since there’s not a ton of staffing. If you are in the mood for fried chicken, get the chicken wing appetizer. It’s sweet with a little heat and super crunchy. And they pick big wings, so you get your moneys worth!
We decided to try a Korean BBQ. A friend recommended the place. It was nice, different, and fun!
The best kept secret in Cleveland! You will not be disappointed! Great service, WONDERFUL food, temperature checks. It was the bomb! We came for my brother's birthday and left full and happy. Very clean and COVID safety is a priority for them. My family and I will definitely be back. Customers for life. Ms. Jessica (the owner) was so nice and welcoming. I await for the next event to come here.
Best kept secret in Cleveland!! Service is top tier and extremely friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. There would have been pictures but we ate everything. A new place I plan to come back to ??
The most authentic, intimate, and delicious Korean bbq experience!!! My partner and I went there to celebrate my birthday and Jessica, the owner of the place, was super attentive and accommodating. She explained all the meals, and even told us how the fresh vegetables all come from small, Asian businesses around the neighborhood. She also provided some free small plates so that we could try different meals. The meat and vegetables were incredibly flavorful, and super fresh. Jessica also explained how we could mix the different vegetables and meats. We got the thin beef and thin spicy pork beef — both were amazing! We also got the fried dumplings.Overall, I highly recommend the place, especially to celebrate special events. People there are so kind and it’s also a very covid-safe space — they check your temperature at the entrance and use masks throughout the whole restaurant, something by very rare to see in Cleveland.
Don’t let the exterior deter you from going in. The food is SO flavorful! The owners are so helpful and kind. Best Korean I have had in the Midwest. The marinated thin pork was incredibly tender and almost melted in your moth. The japchae was peppery and filled with spinach and beef. The deik bok ki is great balance of sweet and spicy, definitely upgrade and get it with ramen and cheese.
I've eaten at Rising Grill several times, both BBQ and off the menu. I think they have the best dolsot bibimbap in town (lots of veggies). I'm also a fan of how many banchan are served, as well as the tiny cup of sujeonggwa after the meal. So spicy and sweet! Some other notes if you're visiting: There is no parking lot, but off-street parking is usually plentiful. If you're particular about public bathrooms, Rising Grill has a nice, single-occupancy one. Lastly, if you love K-pop, there's always some sort of K-pop performance on the multiple TVs in the restaurant. Dang, I love watching those kids dance.
