I has never been to eat at the restaurant, but we have ordered food for takeout.it is always very delicious. Personally, I love the beef steak with onion and the Stewed Cod, not to mention the beans, they are very tasty.

Was overcharged 3 times. When mentioned that the to-go bill was incorrect, I was dismissed with “Those are the prices”. Then she said it was a “tax charge”. Tax on carry out?! (No beverages). When asked for a receipt, I was told they were out of receipt paper(?). No option for a emailed receipt.The place is ran poorly and they make their own prices as they feel like it. Another embarrassment to the Puerto Rican community.
I went to the restaurant on 11/20/21 for lunch with my family from out of town and asked for two alcapurrias, I told the lady that we were going to eat there and to keep adding to the bill until everyone finished ordering, she replied; “NO” you have to pay for this now. I said ok but when I got the food it was cold and hard like cardboard. Not only te service was bad but the food was terrible. I asked if they could give me fresh food and the excuses were coming out so I asked for my money back and they told me that because I paid with my credit card they couldn’t give me my money back. I end up leaving the restaurant upset and embarrassed because I told my family that the food there was good and the service was good. I told the lady that she could take the $5 and give it to the young lady at front for her bad customer service. I never experienced anything like this here before and I hope that the problem get fix. Customer service is one of the most important things in the restaurant business and the quality of food.

I have been going here for years and the service has declined. Each year the service is worse. They are slow. Servers disappear often. The food is a bit pricey which wouldn’t be so bad if it was consistent. I like to support local and small business which is why I go back but sometimes the food is awful. I suspect it varies depending on the cook. I wish the owners would take more pride into their business. I often wonder if the customers in business suits are treated superior and the rest of us get scraps.
