I grew up in Cleveland. For the last 20 plus years I've lived in southern Ohio. My Mom, God rest her soul, used to buy Slovenian sausages there often, more so during the holidays. I was feeling a little nostalgic today, so I drove an hour just to get 2 IBS of that . While I was in the store I saw some spaetzel, so I grabbed some. Got home in all the rain lol, fried the spaetzel in onion, mushroom and butter, boiled the sausage and made some steamed broccoli. Raddells, you did not disappoint. Even with gas prices at an all time high, this trip was worth it. Thank you
Raddell’s Sausage is the best! Not only is their sausage and potica the best I’ve ever had (sorry, Grandma,) their customer service is second to none! My in-laws are both from Cleveland and my husband was born there, even though he moved to Tennessee with his family when he was only three. We keep my father-in-law’s Slovenian tradition alive with their amazing smoked sausage and potica. Happy Easter to the Raddell family their employees! May God bless them all! ✝️
though im a vegan now for the past 20+ yrs in the past as a little kid growing up on e 150th st i have nothing but good memories of my dad and i going in your store for a variety of really good stuff ,esp the smokies lol
Top quality authentic recipe Slovenian sausage. Try the rice sausage - top notch. Other ethnic varieties are worth the price. Home-made pastries are excellent. I have been shopping there for 40+ years, just as my maternal grandmother did before WW2!
I love their Slovenian sausage! I have grown up having Potica bread and now this will always be a staple in my house.
I ordered Zelodec and Slovenian Sausage shipped to my mom. She was very excited to receive them. Ordering was easy and the shipping was quick.
Very disappointed, drove 35 minutes to get to this place after seeing a ad in the local paper. The young guys behind the counter were very nice but there products were not very good at all, the Homemade sauerkraut was very thick like ooze, not what you want in a great sauerkraut, there sausages which I placed on the grill. They came out looking pretty good BUT were LOADED and I DO MEAN OVERLOADED with SALT. Way way too much, I seen a picture they had of Michael Symon inside but Im sure Michael NEVER would want SO MUCH Salt in his sausage especially fresh sausage. Very Disappointed won’t be going back and will not recommend them .. They need to taste what they are selling…
