Pretty amazing little BBQ joint under Crust in Tremont. Brisket was very tender and tasty, practically did not need any sauce with it to eat. Mac and cheese was downright tasty but wasn't a fan of the baked beans (not to say you will not like them...might be just me!).There a patio out back that will not only serve you Proof but Crust as well. Looked like a large patio too!
Got there right at opening, and no burnt tips. Plus they were supposed to be part of the margherita/mimosa fest which started at 2. They opened at 5:30, and did not have the drink specials. Still ordered the brisket tacos. Don't bother wasting your time, dry and bland brisket. I have made way better at home.
We like the food a lot. The Mac and cheese was better then other bbq places around. The servers really give you space and don't talk to you every 5 mins which gave it a come in eat and hang out feel. The bar was very popular. I'll be happy to go back anytime.
Sunday brunch is back at Proof! We tried the Hash and the Classic, both were excellent - exactly what we’ve come to expect from this place. And the patio…pure bliss!
Cozy BBQ spot with an excellent bourbon selection. Definitely try the Latin Pork Sandwich, chicharrones and brisket. Cute patio too.

Honestly probably the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The brisket and pulled pork were both incredible. Mac & cheese was 10/10.
Proof was super good! A nice and cozy atmosphere under another great tremont restaraunt named Crust. I ordered the brisket tacos, with a side of Mac n cheese as well as a cup of their chilli and everything was superb.The drinks were really good too and reasonably priced!
