Food was great piping hot service was fabulous and yes they had the spicy chicken sandwich available!
Update on my Popeye review from a month ago. The first week after the intercom was fixed , the service was ok. It has been getting worst every week from that time .Even with the intercom fixed, they serve a car every 10-15 minutes. This is how they take your order and I went here 3 weeks straight and had the same results. The inside isn't open, ever. So you waiting in line and wandering how long can it be? I was third in line last week and it took 40 min to get my order.A car in front of you finally order. Then you pull up and someone inside say , let me cash out the car before you. So you're waiting , thinking a couple of minutes. No they do not take your order for 10 minutes. Now you are hearing and seeing this happening to cars in front of you. Then when you get to the window, you order isn't ready and I am talking about 3 Tuesday specials. They also inform you at the window a lot of the things that are not ready or they do not have.They have from 5-7 people standing around inside doing nothing , but talking and playing. Yes, you can see all this from your car. Someone is going in and out going to the store next door bringing back big bags of beverages handing them out.You have 2 or 3 coming out sitting by the door smoking, including the cooks . Now, you would think on Tuesday special, the would try and keep up with the chicken because if no other time people will be buying plenty, NOT here . Especially around maybe 4- 7 pm.Today I went on Broadway and they were slow as ever. I turned out the parking lot, went to the one on Lee Rd and was back home in 30 min., with fresh hot chicken, soft butter biscuits and my favorite strawberry lemonade.Do Not go to the one on Broadway unless you have extra gas and an hour to wait for your food .
A horrible place to go. Used app,ordered,paid. Got to store. 6 cars ahead of me, 3 past speaker. Speaker didn't work, no sign. Got to window. 30 minutes later. 15 minutes to get food. Not again
Customer service is terrible & service is slow as hell!!! Need to fire everybody in there & hire ppl that actually wanna work & not horse play with each other. ILL NEVER COME TO THIS ONE AGAIN YOUD DO BETTER GOING TO THE ONE IN WARRENSVILLE OR BROADWAY SAVE URSELF THE HASSLE!
Night shift was a group of hard working young people doing the best they can. Line was extremely long they worked wonders to get everyone served
I don't know if this is a review for the one on Lee Rd or Northfield Rd, but they are both HORRIBLE. 7 cars in the line on Northfield, 20-30 minutes later after 2 cars left the line I get out to go to the door and ask them if they're open and the guy just casually sits there and says "we're closed" it would've been nice if they would have told the people waiting in the drive-thru line that. Then I head off to the Lee Rd location where they served me from the walk up window, and 2 other people but ignored, then turned away a lady. I feel like the guy with the cast on his arm did something fishy with my card, and so did the lady that was at the window waiting for her food, because she pulled around and said the same thing to me. Corporate needs to intervene, or managers needs to be checked or something...
So I order a 5 PC tender meal, Mac n cheese and a biscuit large Dr pepper no ice. One ranch one bbq dip. It took forever to get through the order as 3 different people put us on hold in the drive thru. Dips weren't in the bag. And if you've been to enough soda fountains you can tell they haven't calibrated their machines in a while if at all ever. Chicken tenders were a bit skimpy in size which is irritating considering the price of the meal. Serving for Mac n cheese wasn't enough for a toddler to be satisfied with. It met what I'd expect as far as taste went considering I've had far fresher chicken at other places. But I think service could use more structure and guidance. If you love pop eyes and this is the only one within reasonable range to go to then so be it. But I would much rather find the next one and travel farther for better food and service.
This was my first time ever having Popeyes, went through the drive thru, waiting a little bit but there were 5 cars ahead of us do not that bad considering, the staff was very friendly and nice and they seemed to all be getting along and even though busy still making it a great flowing group that has fun while working and doing a great job at it!!! The world needs more of that kinda moral, the food was hot and fresh and delicious rice and beans are awesome, chicken is crispy and the Mac and cheese is so so so so so good!!! Great place, Great crew, Great service!!!!
Apparently two weeks later the drive-thru speaker is still broken and I have been sitting here for over a half hour in line. They are literally taking orders at the window and cars are backed out to the street. All I can hope at this point is that the chicken is hot and freshUnfortunately I'm going to have to make an edit on this already disastrous experience. After 45 minutes from pulling into hitting the window they managed to mess up only thing I got chicken sandwiches and made them all spicy so now none of my kids will be able to eat them. Literally only taking one order at a time and they still messed it up. Unreal
Chicken flavor is not original Spicy taste like regular red beans rice hardly any beans and they dry
