I saw the menu online and was surprised to find that the prices are double what is on the menu. In addition to this, the people there don’t even speak Vietnamese. In terms of food, there are a few pros and cons. Their bún bò hue was decent in taste, but it was $18! Their goi cuon were not rolled very well and has too much noodles with no herbs. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

We ordered 4 items, the iced coffee, summer rolls, banh xeo, and pho tai. The ice coffee was warm, yeah, how is it possible? The summer rolls was ok, the peanut sauce was hoison with peanuts on top. That's not how the sauce should be made. The banh xeo was burnt and orange. It didn't come with lettuce to wrap it. The carrots and cucumbers were dry. The pho tasted sweet and didn't come with bean sprouts. Let's say I’m not returning. There was so many flies in the restaurant too.

Today, I went to Number One Pho for maybe the third or fourth time. The food and service were excellent as always. This time, I ordered the summer roll and pork banh mi. The summer roll was not really to my taste, but was decent nonetheless, and I think good from a more objective standpoint. The banh mi, however, was absolutely amazing. The salty and savory grilled pork blended perfectly with the crusty baguette, spicy jalapeños, sour pickled carrot and radish, and herbaceous cilantro. My only criticism is that there was not more of it! In the past, I have ordered the restaurant's namesake dish (pho) and I loved it just as much as the banh mi, if not more. Easily the best I have had in town. If a friend asked me which Vietnamese restaurant downtown I would recommend, I would say Number One Pho.

Spicy Lemongrass Pho and summer rolls are fantastic! I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy and service was quick.

Smaller shop. Older and dated. Descent food. Price more on the higher end.The pho was okay. Good broth. Rice was not how many kids had expected. Tasted different. Good egg rolls. Spring rolls was okay, stuff with lots of noodle.Quick service. Friendly and helpful staff. Street parking, close to downtown.

Prior to a few days ago, I hadn't had this dish in a couple of years. I should have left it that way because now, I'm ADDICTED all over again? Love their vermicelli dishes.

Brisket pho by the time the light changes swear to god. Be sure to say hello very friendly very fast very good you like xoxo

We had terrible service. The server brought our food and never came back to see if we needed anything. She didn’t even bring a check- we had to awkwardly wander up to the front to pay. The menu online looked good, so we were looking forward to eating there. Nope, food was greasy and bland- pair that with the bad service, and it‘s a no.

This was my first time trying pho and it was absolutely delicious. The boba tea was very good too. It tasted like strawberry Nesquick and was so tasty. Highly recommend. The spring rolls were very tasty. Very nice portions. Our server was very kind. Definitely number one and I hope to come back soon!

Chicken cabbage salad is always a favorite. Wish they'd bring back the drip Vietnamese coffee.
