Four of us walked in on a Saturday night and Tom kindly served us at the bar. He was so sweet and we felt welcomed while we visited from Pittsburgh for the night. If you want a nice and chill vibe, stop by at Moe’s! Cheers!
They have new owners now. Haven't been there in over twenty years. It used to be a dive bar. It's totally renovated with a complete list of local craft beers. Worth a visit.
Found this gem of a bar spontaneously after a concert at the nearby Playhouse Square. This venue has a long and rich history, which the owner will kindly tell you about. This place was the inspiration for the Simpsons character Moe who is the bartender at Homer's favorite bar. There's a Simpsons character painted on the brick inside, a bowling game, Edison string lights, and nice decor. Support this local establishment. Nice beer selection too! We met a beloved local, Les the Beer Guy, who has his own brew on tap at Moe's.
I really liked this place!! stopped to have a quick bite to eat and a drink before a show at The Agora. bartender was kind and attentive and the clay oven pizza was fantastic!! definitely will be back!
Love it here. Tom and mike are always very welcoming and super nice. Definitely a great place to check out.
Really, a gem of a place. Great atmosphere. We went because everyone else was closing, but found it to be exactly what we were looking for. Good games on the tvs, good music on the speakers, fun people in the seats, and a kitchen that can be proud of itself. Thanks, y'all.Edit: Forgot to mention the draft. Options were so nice. Something for everyone here, I'll say.
Saw a play at Connor Palace then stopped in Moe's Tavern for a drink and food. Place was small but inviting. Comfortable seating. Attentive bartender. Drinks and food was great. Definitely will be back.
Moe's Tavern is a hidden gem. Great service, delicious cocktails, $5 weekday happy hour, great draft beer selection. Nice selection of appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches, food is amazing. I highly recommend the Southwest Spring Rolls, the hot chicken sandwich, and any of their pizzas!
Great pizza and a nicely curated local draft beer list
