Lots of fun and exciting flavors to try! Coming from New England, I can be pretty picky about local ice cream shops, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, the ice cream isn't all that cheap but you do get a large portion size for your money. A "single scoop" is really all you need for a good amount of ice cream. I feel like the flavors that have chocolate pieces in them are a little bit heavy handed with how many pieces there are (I'd personally prefer the ratio to be a little more ice cream than pieces) but not to the extent that it isn't still enjoyable. There are a few tables inside and outside if you want to sit and eat. This is set away from roads in a pedestrian mall area, and not super close to a parking lot, so you made need a bit of walking to visit this place.
Some of the best ice cream! Lots of different flavors and very friendly staff who are eager to let you sample and help with your order. I would definitely come back again!
While visiting our daughter at Case Western Reserve University, she took us to Mitchell's. The staff was friendly and quick. It was late, and the line moved quickly. The ice cream was delicious, and I even got the sugar-free vanilla which was great. We would recommend a visit.
I do not make choices lightly. When I came here they have a plethora of options. After some serious consideration, I had decided. Only to be ridiculed by the employee for my choice. I left with nothing. It will be a while before I try them. See, here I was trying to give this chain a try, and ended up with nothing.
The Rasberry Sorbet is delicious, but it's disappointing that you only get 2 complimentary toppings and they're sprinkles and chocolate shavings. I felt ripped off. One of the two should definitely be whipped cream. Additional toppings are $1.00 each. The one on West 25th doesn't charge you if you want a different topping.
Love this ice cream shop, dont go no where else. They have 2 new flavors coconut chocolate almond omg taste just like almond joy candy bar, lemon white chocolate cookie so so good and you have your choice of cones to go with your purchase
So good that we had to go twice over a three-day weekend while visiting our daughter at CWRU! It is one of her favorites, and now ours, too!
They were very busy but fast. As I had never been there before I had no idea even what to choose (lots of unusual flavors) but the server made a suggestion & explained that I could have it in a cup, cake, sugar, or waffle cone. Chose one scoop of banana cream pie. Scoop was generous (had 2 ask for a cup?) and was delicious. Definitely will visit again next time. If your driving in the city, there is parking in the lot just behind the store. Its free for 1 hr and you just validate the ticket as you leave.

One of the best in the area. Seasonal varieties doing the round are just fabulous. Love the pistachios and the pumpkin spice ! I mean i have been trying new scoop every time and none has failed my taste buds so far. Totally recommended for anyone. The staff is really generous and makes you equally happy as does the ice cream ?scoop. The scoops are super large for one person lol ?Thanks for making everyone happy :)
