The food here was not good at all. I ordered the double deuce and I regret it to the point of writing a review. The potatoes are absolutely disgusting. They literally have no seasoning. Not salt or pepper. They are dry and not even ketchup can make them taste better. The pancakes tasted like rubber even after syrup. My scramble eggs were one big piece. I can’t believe a place like this is still in business.This was my first meal of the day and I rather starve than eat this nasty a** food again. My 8mo old baby can cook better than this!!! I’m so serious!!!
I work on Shaker Square and have been to Michaels Diner plenty of times! But the past several times, the food hasn't been that great and the service.....NOT good.I go in to pick up my order and there is a customer in front of me and two behind me. Why did the lady at the front desk tell the two behind me to step up like I wasnt next in line. When it was finally my turn, she acted like nothing was wrong. First of all, I was next in line, not them. She proceeded to tell me they are regulars. AND??? At this point, I just want to get back to work. She then tells me my total. $14.48. Wait, what? For the double deuce? And an extra pancake? Wow. Okay, I give her $15.50. And she hands me back $1. Tells me to have a good day. I said can I have my two pennies. She rolls her eyes. Lady, its MY MONEY! NOT YOURS.The pancakes were so thick and chewy. Bacon, burnt. Eggs, rubbery. Only thing good was the sausage and homefries. Sorry but yall just lost a loyal customer.
Honestly the food is always on point. I order the meat lovers omelet each and every time and they deliver! I’m actually gonna order it tomorrow for breakfast lol. I order my son the kids breakfast meal and he loves it. Definitely a hidden gem ?
Ordered takeout. The food was ice cold. Also wanted the the breakfast tortilla wrap but wanted veggies instead of meat. They still charge you for the meat and charge for the veggies. Only vegetarian option is an omelet. Never again!
Well i would definitely give the food a 5 star rating. However not the attitude of one of the employees. I ordered my food, & go in to pick it up. When i went into pay for my food the cashier is hussling tips, with an attitude. Are you freakin' joking... Excellent food, but I did not appreciate that kind of behavior, so I won't be back..

Michael's is available via doordash to me in Lyndhurst. Their breakfast foods are among the best in the city. The omlettes are cooked without burning the outside. The hollandaise is house made and the grits are worth kissing. Give them a try.
