Absolutely amazing! Lots of delicious food and big portions. Everything from the bread to the meals were fantastic! Highly recommend.
My wife and I had a most memorable meal and experience at Mia Bella, to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. We beat the 6pm rush on a Wednesday, and were immediately seated without a reservation. The meals were presented like a 5-star restaurant; I had the braciole, and my wife had the gnocchi, which was uniquely prepared. We both ordered mixed drinks, and they were perfectly balanced. Yes, there is a $4 charge for bread service, so know this before you get it. It was well worth it, especially if you order a dish with their delicious sauce. There is no charge for refill bread.
Walk in without a reservation on a Thursday night at 6:00? Fugetaboutit! On a beautiful summer night, Little Italy was packed! The friendly hostess offered to sit at the bar, which was a great idea. The bartender was attentive, and took my order right away. My food came out so fast! I ordered the Bolognese. They have a more hearty, meaty sauce. The lamb and beef pieces were small vs chunky. It was a good size portion. I asked for bread, and they brought out 3 nice pieces and oil as well as herb butter. I don’t mind, but noticed after I paid that they charged me $4 for a “Bread Service”. The bill with tip came to $32 with the entree, water, and bread.
We chose this restaurant based on location and proximity to Cain Park. We dined here before the Chris Botti Concert. The restaurant is only two miles from the park. FYI the menu on trip advisor must be ancient or perhaps a lunch menu because the prices are much higher. We shared a nice 2016 bottle of Barolo from Fratelli Ferrero. Really good wine for $52 a bottle. The wine list is really nice although obviously focused on Italy. We shared the bread service ($4) and then my wife had the stuffed hot peppers (3) while I had the fish soup. Both of these were excellent and the serving size very generous. They had several other appetizers that I would like to try someday. We both had scallops as an entree but I had the seared scallops and she had the scallops with lemon risotto. We were both happy with the scallops. We wanted to try their pizza and we ended up with two. We first ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza but it came with Balsamic Vinegar on top which was not in the description. We didn’t want that so we ordered the pepperoni pizza. We tried the pepperoni pizza and I have to say it was disappointing. Not in the same league as everything else we tried. We had a reservation and it would seem like a good idea as they got quite busy at about 5pm. Service was very good. They note on the menu and again on the check that a 4% charge is added to all bills when a credit card is used. They obviously prefer cash . We’ll worth a visit. We will return.
We love Mia Bella's food. It's our GO-TO place for special occasions. Outside seating is on a first-come-first served basis. But indoors is too LOUD for hearing each other.
Upscale Italian restaurant with great meal choices. Their sauce is mostly beef based (veal, beef) with well balanced spices. Pasta is fresh and al dente. Good wine list. Service is very good too. Prices are very high so best to go on a special occasion.
Great food, excellent service. This was our first stop on a long cross-country trip. I had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the pesto Verde.
Cozy corner restaurant for delicious Italian food. Loved our window view and overall warm environment. I tried the cheese tortellini and loved every bite.Virgin mojito was a bit overpriced for a whopping $11/cup! Overall a great place for a special occasion or evening out.
Service, food, food presentation was perfect.Great atmosphere in the summer. We really had a great time here, will definitely go back.
I would drive here just to eat! Wonderful food, great service! Just yum! Here’s a good general thing about Cleveland to know: lots of things are CLOSED on Monday! Mia Bella is one of the few in Little Italy open on a Monday! Was told,”Its a Cleveland thing”, but good to know if you’re passing thru!
