So much to love here; the coffee, the atmosphere, the decor, the service, and yes the food. I actually really love their quiche and grits in particular. Make sure you try the lumberjack flavor in your coffee or tea, it's great.
This is such a wonderful business for Old Brooklyn! The atmosphere and decor is very unique and inclusive for anyone on any given day. I love the large selection of teas this shop has, and I highly recommend the sausage gravy and biscuit on the breakfast menu! Metropolitan is doing awesome work for our community by partnering with all kinds of recycling, composting and reducing waste initiatives. Your money is well spent here!
One of my favorite places! Parking here is a nightmare and sometimes the drive-through has a long line, but I think it’s because they’re so good and everybody else wants to come to the same place! They have a lot of options and as someone who has food allergies I feel safe because they take that seriously and are nut free facility. My favorite thing to order is the honey cinnamon latte.
Had a wonderful experience at this cafe! It was busy when we arrived (which I took to be a good sign), and the staff did an amazing job treating each guest with care and warmth, while keeping the line moving. I couldn’t resist adding one of their in-house flavors to my cafe au lait, which was delicious! They’ve been strategic with the food menu, doing a few things brilliantly. The grits were flavorful, hot, and generously topped with cheese, scallions, and bacon crumbles. Next time I’m in town, I’m excited to try some of the sweet options from the pastry case! There is plenty of seating, and the decor is lovely.
We ordered Strawberry Lemonade cupcakes for my daughter’s nut-free birthday party. The cupcakes were AMAZING! They were delicious and so big! All of the girls loved them ❤️
Have been here multiple times to give this honest review. I love the coffee but would not come back again. Here is why:- Parking is horrible. Quite often that I came and had to drive to other coffee shops because of not having a parking space. Even the parking area is tiny, but they somehow try to make a drive-through out of it.- The service is super slow. I waited for 35 minutes for my coffee in the drive-through today. That is longer than waiting for my meal in the restaurant. If there is not enough staffs, then hire more people! (The previous time was ~20 minutes)- After waited for 35 minutes for my cup of coffee, I received a plain coffee with no flavor, no syrups, no sugar, completely opposite to what I ordered.- Overpriced. With how much they charge for a cup of coffee, they can afford to hire more people to make the service better, quicker and higher quality.I would love to support local business but this is not it. I would rather go to Starbuck for faster/better service, bigger size and cheaper cost.
Love coming here to get some work done. They have wonderful drinks and food. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care and effort into the drinks.
First time here and I just love it. The young woman came to the car gave me run down on the menu and I was impressed ?. Definitely will be back for the great service and the quiche and coffee were excellent.
Very good mocha decaf and blueberry muffin. The muffin tasted like it had fresh blueberries in it, regular store cake mix and clumps of cream cheese mixed with sugar cookie dough.
Very nice cozy place ,good coffee ☕️ ?
