Food is absolutely amazing, plates as well as the sauces used were prepared the right way, fresh, and warm.. service was great and on point. Drink and wine list was even and clean with nice variety. Environment was easy going and comfortable, casual dress code and in the heart of little Italy. Will definitely be there again to try other options on menu.

We had high expectations for Little Italy. The meal started off with a great oil/parm/red pepper dip for the bread, along with a good waiter. We ordered an arugula salad that was missing some of the promised lemon in the dressing. We ordered an Alex pizza. Unfortunately, we failed to ask if it was a Neapolitan style (our bad) so it was a little thicker than expected. The topping was very tasty, however, we noticed that the dough was not fully cooked. After mentioning it to the waiter, he offered to have the rest cooked longer. That crisped the bottom and helped a little but I still had to scrape the toppings off and not eat the crust. It was a thick enough crust that it should have been parbaked a bit and then the toppings added. The meal was disappointing partly due to our not paying attention to the kind of pizza we were ordering but partly because we got an undercooked pizza.

I know just about everyone raves over the calamari, but yuck! It’s soggy not crispy. I asked our server about it & this is the way they prepare the dish. Lightly dust with flour & flash fry and then sauté in olive oil, lemon juice, seasoning & tomato basil sauce. This results in a soggy calamari. So, if that’s your thing, enjoy. We returned it. The rest of our meal was fine as was the service.

Chicken saltimbocca = Fantastic. Stopped with two other couples. Every person expressed how delicious their meal was. I choose the chicken saltimbocca. I doubt I will ever get any other dish as my saltimbocca was amazing. All six in our party had leftovers to take home. Portion sizes were great. Our servers were excellent. We will return to Little Italy and Maxi's the next time we are in Cleveland.

Excellent food, wonderful service, and great ambiance! We ordered primarily off the appetizer and salad sections of the menu to keep our lunch light. It worked out great. We’ll definitely be back for dinner or another lunch, if our daughter will decide to study here at Case Western Reserve University.

We had dinner here during our first night stay in Cleveland. Coming off an airplane, we were hungry and randomly picked Maxi’s from a list of restaurants our hotel recommended in Little Italy and it turned to be a right choice. The food was great, the place rather cozy and comfortable and the service was fast.

Offers a wide range of classic Italian dishes, unique plates as well as a wide selection of pizza offerings. We had the calamari - one of the best calamari dishes I have had. Lobster ravioli was top notch and the cavatelli with meatballs was perfect. The ravioli cream sauce was amazingly balanced with the lobster filling. The cavatelli boasted of the simplistic yet full bodied ingredients that paired perfectly with the most tender meatballs. The location was wonderful and the interior provided a relaxed feel to enjoy our meal. Reservations recommended as the dinning area filled up quick. We sat at the bar and had a great time. Lastly, do not let the small size or perception of the interior distract from the food.

Food was just ok in my opinion. Also, this place is very small so where we sat we were wedged between two tables. Our chairs were about an inch away from touching the chairs at the table beside us. Our server was kind and attentive even though they were busy.

Good small spot in Little Italy. The first floor is a small bar and dinning area. Upstairs is reserved for parties and the like. Service was great. All the food we ordered was delicious. I personally had the chicken parmesan and thought it was very good. Good portion for the price. Dinner for two with drinks and appetizers was almost 100 bucks. Pretty par for the course on a night out. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

We visited on a cold winter evening. The restaurant is located in the Little Italy section of Cleveland. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is warm and cozy. We started off with a great bottle of wine before dinner. My wife ordered the Cavatelli with Meatballs, and I had their Farrelle Pasta. Both dinners arrived promptly and were very good. The service was fast and efficient.
