When I found this spot on Yelp, I knew we had to try it. My husband and I love bubble waffles and unique ice cream flavors and this spot delivered.My husband and I got a Bubble Waffle with Black Sesame/Ube Ice Cream and Marzipan Whipped Cream. I loved all of it. I've never seen a place that makes flavored whipped cream before. It was delicious.I'd highly recommend checking out this ice cream shop.
Mason's offers an incredibly unique experience regarding ice cream. The flavor list is lengthy and interesting. The staff here are knowledgeable and very kind. There is plenty of seating once you obtain your ice cream.My son enjoyed the malted strawberry while I had a scoop of the ube. We also were able to taste the Thai Iced Tea, Goat Cheese and Fig Jam, and Marzapan. Everything was impressively delicious. I will be recommending a visit to everyone I know coming from out of town.
Such friendly, engaging service! We loved the unique ice flavor choices such as Ube & Banana Walnut. Easy to find in Ohio City. We'll definitely be back!
An absolute must! Not only do they have fantastic ice cream but they also feature Korean corndogs and ramen seasonally.The ice cream flavors are very unique and are handcrafted with the best ingredients. Baklava is one of my favorites! Get a homemade bubble or sugar cone for the ultimate treat.
Love the idea of a neighborhood gathering spot. For those of us who need to eat gluten free and dairy free.. There are options! The day I went there were at least 3 options and they weren't all sorbets. The lucuma flavor was yummy. Like a toasted coconut. I will go back especially to see what new flavors emerge!
I can’t speak highly enough of Mason’s. I die for the ube, and also the pineapple sorbet which is vegan! Also you have to try the waffles with the ice cream. Beware if you show up right before closing, the lines are usually long.
This place is so cool!! Tucked in a neighborhood full of regulars. They have street parking only so it can be hard to find a spot, but it's worth it!We were initially going for the ramen, but it appears they've changed their menu and are now on the Korean corn dog (those are amazing, super different from our regular corn dogs in the states). I ended up getting the bubble waffle and vegan chocolate coconut ice cream (their vegan ice creams are made with oat milk, also whipped cream made with coconut for the dairy sensitive out there). The waffle was super buttery and delicious on its own, the ice cream flavors melted into it and made it even better! The staff were all helpful despite it being so busy at the time, a nice gem in the area worth going to again!
Without a doubt the BEST ice cream in Cleveland! I love this spot. They change their ice cream flavors often which makes it feel more spontaneous every time you go. I personally love the Fruity Pebbles and Taro ice cream flavors, but everything I have tried has been delicious, creamy, and just perfect. The waffle cones are very tasty as well. Lastly, they have a lot of vegan options which I thought was really thoughtful.
Hated the corn dogs and the ramen. They are awful. The chicken was inedible. It's such a shame that they even charge for these things. The ice cream doesn't make up for their other items. It feels like a scam.
This place is adorable. The seating was in a tent which was a little cold because the heater wasn't working but it was an adorable little experience overall. The Korean corn dogs are so cool. They're filled with cheese and you can literally hear the crunch as you bite into them. The cheese stretches on these things are insanely satisfying. Trust me. We got the hot Cheeto and the potato and all unanimously agreed the potato was better even though two of us love spicy food (so you know how good the potato one is). Try it!
