Marotta’s is my all-time favorite pizza in Cleveland. Although Cleveland has its fair share of amazing pizza restaurants, Marotta’s takes the crown hands-down. The ingredients are very fresh and the toppings are fantastic - my favorite being sausage, pepperoni, and roasted garlic. Apart from the pizza, Marrota’s menu is very good as well. Even if the restaurant did not offer pizza I would love eating there. The atmosphere is really cool as well. It is very intimate and makes for a lovely date night. The prices are slightly above average but I think you are getting more than your moneys worth. For these reasons, Marotta’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland!
I love them for the pizza, but sometimes you just need a good date night and dine in. Its fine dining from start to finish and the wines by the glass paired extremely well with the dishes. The gnocchi is my all-time favorite for wintry weather, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A charming place in the Heights!
This tiny restaurant has been around for years. The food is consistently good, with no complaints. The rosetto, gnocchi dish, was delicious as were the mussels. When we want Italian this is always a good choice
Rude staff- food was not ready despite giving a time for pick up an hour and half after ordering. Pizza was not even dressed and was going to be another 30 mins. Staff was rude, never apologized and said it was not their problem.

We ordered 2 large pizzas (pepperoni and cheese) this evening and when we arrived there was a small and large waiting. When we clarified that this was an error, we were told it was our fault because it must have been what we ordered. I understand that this must happen often but this was just not the case with our order. We would have been willing to pay the difference but they didn’t even offer to fix it.
Upon entering the restaurant the place is intimate and cozy. Host greeted us immediately. Even requesting suggestion on an appetizer, he was knowledgeable about it and gave us his feedback. I would say this is a perfect place for a date night because you have the experience throughout. The service isn't fast but at the same time you are allowed to enjoy the process. Our waiter was very aware, checking in regularly and even from the side, he would peek at our table. Food was deliciously made and the desert was delicious. Prices are fair yet not overly priced. They do offer indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. A must to try out.
The pasta bolognese was excellent. Dinner salad good..red pepper dressing is always good. The tiramisu was delicious. I look forward to going back.
Long wait because the dining area is small but the pizza was worth the wait.
I have picked up pizza, pastas and salads from here since day 1. The sausage on the pizza is best I have had. Shrimp gremolata has been a mainstay as well. Last, but not certainly least, the salad dressings and incredible!!!
