Mama Santa's pizza is hands down the best in Cleveland. Their pizza is always crunchy and cheesy, with the perfect amount of sauce and it literally melts in your mouth with each bite. I could eat their pizza every day. They also have some amazing items from the kitchen as well. We ordered their homemade cavatelli, homemade noodles, veal and chicken parmigiana, veal scallopini and their handmade meatballs. You can't go wrong with any of these items, and there are so many more items to choose from that they make in house that we didn't order this time, like their homemade lasagna, which is one of my favorites. Can't wait to go back.
This was our first time visiting this gem. The history and atmosphere helped with this experience as well as the amazing food. Ordered chicken parmigiana, pasta with meatballs, and ravioli, along with fried zucchini and garlic bread. The garlic bread was good but very basic which reminded me of being home. (Not a bad thing considering we we’re staying at the Cleveland clinic)The zucchini was very delicious and dipping sauce was just as tasty. Each meal was far better than anything I’ve tasted out or made from home. The pasta was fresh and sauce homemade but the meatballs stole the show they melted in your mouth. I want to thank the staff they were all great! Almost forgot we ordered extra meats and a large pizza to go that was amazing as well thank you!
Absolutely delicious! We're a family of six and my kids are big pasta fans. (Plus they have an Argentine abuela, so they know good pasta when they eat it. ? ) The food here was great! I especially loved the cannelloni. You can tell it's freshly made. And I was shocked at how quickly they were able to sit our group, even on a busy Saturday evening. Our server was both efficient and gracious. Lovely experience!
Genuine delicious home cooked Italian food at reasonable prices. No frills at this place just a nice laid back experience where the focus is on food for the common person.I had lasagna & wife had stuffed Manicotti. Perfect generous portions, & both were fantastic. Both of use left w/comfortably satisfied belly's.We visited Wed 6/1/22 (after experiencing Rock Hall of Fame) arriving around 3:15. The place was empty (probably due to the time). Got lucky on parking, which for Little Italy is at a premium (common advice from everyone is plan to spend time hunting for it).The one negative is drink size glasses are smaller then is customary in most restaurants.. but hey you're getting home cooked food.

I looked through all the Italian restaurant reviews on google maps to find a place that had stellar reviews for their pizza and stumbled upon this restaurant. I’m not local and great pizza in my area is hard to come by, so I’m always on the hunt for some amazing pizza.I ordered a large pepperoni pizza by phone and had about a 30 minute wait, which was fine as we were in transit ordering food to try at another restaurant. The parking at this location was pretty limited and the street parking was filled as well as their back parking lot (it only had about 4-5 parking spaces). Our pizza was ready around the time they said it would be so we were able to get in and out quickly. The pizza was hot and met my expectations for freshness. The sauce was flavorful with seasoning and tasted homemade. The ratio of toppings to dough was good, but extra cheese on the pizza would have been more my style. The crust was thin and had a nice crunch to it, but not an over cooked crunch. I can’t really explain the crust crunch, but I liked it. Overall the pizza was good and I enjoyed it. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve experienced but by far exceeds other establishments. If I was in the area again, I might not stop here again and only for the sheer fact that my goal in life is to try all the different pizzas I can. I would recommend others to try the pizza here. We didn’t order anything else so I can’t comment on the food options, but I did like the price point of their large pizza, just a bit over $12 for a 1 topping.
Friend and I stopped in after running a 5k at the zoo- just looking for something casual. SO glad we chose to try them out! Was probably the best Italian I've ever eaten!! Bread was served warm and our entrees were absolutely delicious. Plus the service was incredible, atmosphere was comfortable, and prices reasonable. Definitely recommend!
What a delightful accident having lunch here! The place is right out of the movie The Godfather as far a decor. The side salad was tasty and the meatball sandwich was good, but the best part was the people. I asked our delightful waitress to take our picture because it was our 55th wedding anniversary. She told the other staff so we were repeatedly congratulated. She brought us spumoni on the house then announced that our bill was comped. We insisted that they should let us pay but they would not do we left more than enough as a tip to cover the bill and ice cream. But the staff really made us happy with their kindness.
I cant begin to imagine how this place maintains a four star review? They must have a huge family that continues to write reviews for them. The pizza was among the worst we ever had. The crust, probably the most important part, seemed very institutional. Tasted of stale bread. The excessive sauce didn't compensate for the lack of poor quality cheese scattered atop. The only thing I can see the place has going for it is cheap prices. If it's a bargain you are looking for, save your money and go to Pizza Hut or get a Bobboli and make your own at home. Either would be better.
Really good Italian food. Great service price was not bad we will be going back again. Really nice place
