Great place for a great sandwich, we stopped for lunch, had the Roman with lemon potatoes, and also Avocado Lime BLT with fries... Both potato sides were exceptionally good, the sandwiches were great, too, bread was fresh, perfectly toasted/panini'd. The server was excellent, too- the woman working the register (I think her name was Terry, very nice, friendly, and had a great smile!)) also brought our food out to us, brought us an extra tray, too (my wife and I shared The Roman ?). I highly recommend Local West, delish.
Friendly & welcoming staff. One of the, if not the BEST burger I’ve ever had (and fries). I’m pretty particular about my burgers and within seconds of biting into this burger I was saying “oh wow” audibly. One of the few places who knows how to cook medium rare and season the beef right. It was a big juicy, 1/2lb burger with a huge serving of home cut fries (I got mine well done and they were awesome too, so good). The lettuce is spring mix (yum). The bacon on the burger is thick and cooked with the right amount of light crisp. The bacon was also neatly folded on top on the burger so it wasn’t sticking out all over the sides like all other burger joints. This is a minor detail that made a huge difference because the bacon was like another layer of meat rather than falling off the burger. Just a darn good burger all around.I live in Michigan 3 1/2 hours away and I’m already thinking about returning to Cleveland for this burger; this is my new favorite joint in the area. Well worth the price of only $13.50 for a huge burger and lots of fires!
This is one of the best places to eat in town. The CHEF makes delicious dishes and anything you get on the menu is a good choice. Highly Rated !!

I have never had a bad meal. I absolutely love their vodoo chicken sandwich with a side of cranberry aoli.
The menu looks amazing, but that is the only redeeming quality... I paid $70 for a family of four to eat dinner: the murv medium burger was cooked WELL done (charcoal briquette style), the cheesesteak beef was burnt, the fries cold and when I told the staff they could care less. Not even an ,"I'm sorry, can I fix it?" The server said, "talk to the chef" and The chef literally looked at me, shrugged, and didn't say one word. Appaling. I'll be calling the manager tomorrow, but not optimistic about a positive outcome. STAY AWAY. The pictures look great, but for a $15 burger the quality is horrendous.
Had to write a review because I love this place so much. We are renovating our house right now (so without a kitchen) and Local West has become my favorite place for lunch and dinner. The food is actually fresh, and the chicken tastes like real chicken (not the weird imitation kind) - it's so good! Also, their mac and cheese is the best thing I have ever tasted. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the salads w/ chicken and the avocado BLT are my go-to - and the mac and cheese, of course. 10/5 recommend this place!
Great eats at this casual spot. Made to reorder fresh - amazing burgers and seriously the best fresh cut French fries I’ve ever had! We will be back!
Met up with an old coworker today for lunch here. Very nice setting. We arrived as soon as they opened. I had the Voodoo and fries while she opted for the grilled cheese and fries. We decided to dine on the patio and we had an amazing lunch despite the bees that occasionally came over to mess with us. But that did not take away from the delicious food and super nice staff. We will be back soon!
