As a hospitality professional down here on business, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service rated 5 and food a 4.Seated at a great table by the water, told we would have a top server, and introduced to Leanne. Please thank her for a great service!! She was able to accommodate a couple of special requests and handled the drawbacks professionally.The drawbacks were that they are getting away with the name Lobster Bisque, the plastic wrap found in the soup, and asked to wait for Key Lime pie which did not arrive.
My dad & I had been wanting lobster rolls so we decided to drop in for Father’s Day weekend. The weather was perfect so it was ideal to be on the patio with that view of the river. The lobster roll was so good & had a great portion of lobster as you can see. The Chips were fine but lacking compared to the roll and for price. Appropriate beer selection complimented the meal & venue. We had Bryon as our server, he was wonderful and had an infectious smile. All in all, I was happy to pay for the food, service & views on the occasion.
We have been here several times over the past month. The servers were tremendous and the food was very good. Has a nice atmosphere and has a few fun twists. The menu selection was good. It is a bit pricey.
Overall not a great experience. We were planning my daughters 16th birthday who wanted to go to dinner with a few friends (8 total plus 2 adults). We were told we couldn't make a reservation for 8 and to call that weekend. In the meantime we reserved a 6 top and 4 top. I called the day of and was basically scolded for even asking. When we arrived they sat us completely across the restaurant from one another. They did allow our 4 top to move closer but we were on high tops in the MOST uncomfortable chairs. We had to keep getting up to get feeling back in our legs. Food was OK. Server got our order wrong. The bar was SLOW. I wouldn't recommend this place for a "nice dinner" or larger party.
The location is superb and the restaurant is nicely done. The food is really good...we are vegetarians and once the order was prepared as requested, it was excellent. The host couldn't smile apparently (it was 7:30 pm, the restaurant was NOT very busy...slower night) and was not happy when we asked to move since she seated us next to a very loud group away from the water, despite my request to be at a quiet table near the water. There were tables available....The waiter (probably) or the kitchen screwed up and put tuna where tofu should have been and took over 20 minutes to return the dish to the table....I should have asked for a side of tofu and scraped it off myself. No apologies no taking anything off of the bill or comp. It's too bad two staff members made a lovely evening much less so due to their attitudes and complacency. You should not have to ask for a manager, the manager should have known and been out and about paying attention. We were never asked how the food or service was by anyone.
My husband and I went on a couple’s date night with friends . It was perfect. Food, drinks everything made the night a real treat. Our server was so attentive and every suggestion he made was spot on.
Great laid back atmosphere. Great food.
it was a beautiful day so I am sure that helped with the great ambiance. very comfortable for a bigger group of us. cocktails were really good wait staff was great, place needs a good scrub and food was just good, nothing spectacular.
got seated right away on a very busy night. service person Nick was on top of things for being so busy.
Really enjoyed dining here. The service was fantastic! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Really looking forward to another visit.
