What a gem! A great addition to the Uptown Neighborhood. For now, at least, they have a Friday special: raw oysters, a buck a piece. The fried catfish, soft shell crab, crab cakes etc. are all great starters.
Remarkable place. Clean, plenty of seats, friendly efficient staff, parking nearby off Mayfield.We went in, in a bit of a hurry, got a "Handful" for two, loads of food. Primal, comes in a bag (look up "Cajun bag boil") with a pail for the parts, and that's about it. They give you a bib and gloves, this is full-contact dining, I cannot emphasize this enough. Get rice to mop up the juices. We had plenty o'leftovers.Full bar.
Great service and casual atmosphere. Had a rice bowl with shrimp and scallops and a delicious garlic sauce, with broccoli and corn. My friend had fried fish that looked awesome. Check out food and drink specials. Nice to have another sit-down casual place to linger and have a drink!
My first time here, and I love the atmosphere. They give you a good portion of seafood, and our waitress, Boul, is very quick with the service! Will come back soon!
The seafood boil was hot and well seasoned.That clam chowder is to die for if you like clam chowder I would advise you to go and get you a bowl.I would definitely eat here again.
Excellent for seafood lovers!This is my second time here and today I ate the biggest mussels I have ever eaten!Corns are sweet and services are nice!
Got the $10 fried catfish basket and it was pretty good. The catfish and cajun fries were freshly fried and crispy. I have to commend the fries especially because the exterior was perfectly crisp with a soft interior. It would be nice if the amount of fried catfish amounted to 4 instead of 3, but it's still a solid meal. I am interested to try out the boil next time.
Best boil I've had in awhile and the portion sizes are worth it. The girl working the counter was super sweet and attentive as well. Its also decorated really nice inside 10/10 recommend as a fun and delicious place to eat
Really? You guys really charge me for this small bowl for 19$? Theres barely amything in the bowl... not even one full sausage just a small piece of it. 3 small pieces of scallop for 7$ and 4 small pieces of mussel for 5$ and where is the cheese? U didnt put cheese in it amd charged me 1$Would not order this item ever again.
First time at any Lee's Seafood Boil location & was happily impressed with the food quantity & quality for the price! Came in with my mom before work & we split The Handful ($35) with Cajun & Medium spice level. It was delicious! Wendy, our server, was super nice & made our experience all the better!You could pay more for the shrimp to have the heads & shells removed from the shrimp ($5), but i think that takes away from the experience of a REAL boil! If you want to complain about paying more for this service, you shouldn't get the service.We will absolutely be back!
