My first visit, lunch and the place was over crowded and the wait was 15+ minutes after the order. The layout is not setup correctly to efficiently handle a line of customers.I ordered the vegan salami sandwich which was disappointing. I prefer whole foods and I'm not a fan of fake meat. This was not even close to impossible burger quality. There were also asparagus stalks on the sandwich? I'm never seen this before and now I know why.The coolers and tables being so close together make it difficult for customers to get drinks, stand in line, and sit to eat.If you are adventurous give it a shot. If crowded areas are not your thing many find another place during peak times.

The pastrami was tasty and the vibe was super cool but I’m not quite ready to crown this place “the greatest thing west of the Hudson.” There was a sinus-searing amount of spicy mustard that really overpowered the sandwich. Also, don’t go if you’re in a hurry - it took a good 20-30 minutes AFTER placing my order to get a single pastrami sandwich.

If you’re planning on opening a deli in Ohio city I would make different arrangements…. This place has the most bestest sandwiches in the world. They are second to nobody !!!

Tried the Cuban, pastrami, veggie cheesesteak, slaw, and apple & date salad. All excellent!

THE AUDACITY!!! Where do I begin? This is the 3rd time I’ve had this place, and it’s ridiculous how good their food is. I love how they’re always changing up the menu because I’m always willing to try new things. It may seem a little pricey for a lunch spot, but I’m telling you, it’s worth every penny. Huge portions, which makes going back to work extremely difficult, but this has easily become my favorite lunch restaurant. Definitely recommend the oatmeal cream pie.

Pastrami Rueben was delicious, great flavored juicy meat on good bread. But the line moves at a snail’s pace (30m to get food with ~12 people ahead) and the sides I got were so salty I could only eat 1-2 pieces (green beans, dill pickles which turned out to be carrots and tomatillos, and charred cabbage). I get it, you have to use salt to preserve, but you can use much less and get far better pickles.

One of the best eatery’s in Cleveland. This is the top place to go if you’re visiting the city. If you go, make sure you stock up on homemade pastries and desserts to eat after your meal!

Adorable little spot to grab a delicious bite to eat! You order and pay at the counter off the seasonal chalkboard menu. There are a handful of tables to choose from but not too many. The decor is cool and the line was hopping! The sandwiches and fries were delicious! The larder sauce was awesome too!

Pastrami sandwich was much better than I’ve had at other delis and was enormous. I ordered side of potato salad which was good but too much food for lunch. Potato salad made with a decent amount of horseradish and other seasonings which made it unique. Really enjoyed the ambiance as well - I think the deli is in a refurbished fire station due. Very cool place for lunch.

The vibe here is down to earth! I’m guessing based on visual cues and some of their decor that the building Larder is located in used to be a fire house, but it was too busy to strike up a conversation when we visited. The decor/rows of pickled food in jars on the walls are awesome. The pastrami sandwich was a work of art! We also grabbed a charcuterie plate for later.
