This is simply the best "authentic" Mexican food to be had in the greater Cleveland area! It is a gift from God! Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Follow your appetite and your instincts as to what to order because I don't think you will be disappointed.
its a standard mexican supermarket. i got the grande carne asada burrito at the restaurant attached to this place. the burrito was $12 so thats a bit higher than normal. the mexican soda i acquired was also priced somewhat higher than what i recall back in california at mexican markets. the burrito was gigantic fitting the name they have given the burrito. the carne asada was tough, overcooked and dry. they also put lettuce in your burrito so not sure if one should call this place tex-mex. due to prices and quality of the burrito i surmise this is a 2/5 establishment.
As some people have stated, this is attached to the front of a supermarket. I didn't realize it was there for years BUT per its reputation I tried it out and it reaches to the level of the hype i had heard. They have tremendous tacos and I tried most all of them. The large quesadilla (carne asada) was a GREAT to go item & we have since been back to get those again. Very much worthy trying if you love authentic tacos/Mexican. I didn't try the nachos yet but I saw an order of them and they also looked amazing. I will be back!
Absolute garbage service!Ordered online 3 tacos and even though it says includes Cebolla, Cilantro, Lemon, Salsa Roja, Salsa Verde, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Sour Cream, Chipotle, apparently you have to ask for them when you pickup your tacos... had someone pick it up for our office, and was given meat on tortilla shells... tried calling them but all numbers are offline...PLEASE UPDATE YOUR Website to say that we don't put anything unless you come in person and beg for it... Or at least have one number in service so that we can ask.
I gave it two stars the staff was sitting down joking and being loud wich is cool it seem like it was down time no one was there when my family and i walk in. What was a bit sad was that after we walk in said hi to get their attention and we were ignored to a point to were we was thinking about walking right back out. They took our order after they were done talking to each other my son didn’t want to leave so we stay because he’s the one that invited us here, we waited for our food pay then walk to a table and sat down to eat,it was very disrespectful and disturbing that they didn’t respect our space as customers and kept horsing around,adults too that was the sad part. Now here are my pictures of two dried tamale’s one chicken one pork i could hardly brake them apart with the fork not all of us use the sauce’s. The tacos were great but one of them was the wrong meat i left it alone out of respect for my son’s invitation to lunch and ate as much of it as possible plus the staff was too busy horsing around for me to even bother to express my issue. My drink was good but given to us before our food was ready so it was not as cold anymore. Customer service 1 star. Food 2 stars. Me going back no i don’t think so.

while the delicious food is undeniable (pozole, tacos, pan dulce, etc.), so is the uncleanliness throughout the restaurant/store. i’m willing to travel the 40 minutes from the east side to experience childhood memories of my travels to Laredo, Tx and LA through the tastes and ambiance of La Plaza, though I am not willing to sit at an unkempt table and sticky chairs. the store portion is no better with items scattered on the floor, dust and dirt on the shelves. clean up shop and i’ll be back!
