We went for Mother's Day. It didn't seem super busy but maybe understaffed or possibly new employees working in the kitchen...??? It was my 1st visit there. I was not impressed. My entire entree of pasta was in one big clump and not much flavor. Several of our meals were like this and the meals were not hot. They were lukewarm at best. My opinion is that the pasta was being cooked and sat somewhere before it was ordered. I wouldn't say I'd never go again i may try again if I'm on that side of town. Waitress was super nice tho.
Very friendly and we had a great waitress.. We had a larger group and unfortunately the food wasn't the greatest, overcooked pasta, either to much sauce or barely even there, some of us had cold food.. Kind of a disappointment considering this is usually a great restaurant.. However, the Fettuccine Alfredo that I ordered was really good, just not very warm but that's always an easy fix..
Were told wait would be 30-45. Waited about 15 min. First time for us. Inside restaurant was cozy, atmosphere was family friendly and definitely old fashioned Italian. We loved it. My friend loved warm bread & butter delivered to table immediately. We ordered stuffed peppers as appetizer. Good, slightly spiced. She ordered eggplant parm. Was OK, served as flattened eggplant (thin), breaded, overdone. Spaghetti side and salad were excellent.I had angel hair pasta with meat sauce and 2 meatballs, salad. They were very good. Coffee and iced tea were served and refilled quickly. (I usually like 3-4 iced teas with my dinner).Very reasonable prices. We'll be back.
Charge you for adding croutons to your salad and even charged an extra dollar to put ice in my Bailey's. Friend ordered extra salad dressing but only received one but was charged for the extra dressing.I ordered the chicken and vegetable platter which came with 4 small thin pieces of chicken that was way too dry and the vegetables were over cooked as well.I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will never go back.
We came into town from Atlanta to have dinner out with family. A close friend recommended this restaurant as many are still closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. What an awesome experience. Wait staff was great and all the meals for our party of 16 were perfect. Soup, salad, entrées and wine. All good. We will absolutely be back.
It was the best fettuccine alfredo I have ever had. Veal parm was excellent. Our server was the best.
First time here for carryout and it will not be my last! The food was amazing and the Italian wedding soup was beyond delicious!!! The homemade bread was yummy too! I had the chicken Picatta was perfect and tender! yum!!!!
Always wanted to try this restaurant. One couple refused our invite giving me a "bad review." We still went with the other couple feeling we would have our own opinion, after all some of the best eateries will receive a bad review. Nice "dated" place which we prefer over chains. Bar service was great while waiting for table. We did arrived a bit early waiting for the other couple. All four of us had a drink and seated within 15 minutes. Service at table was poor from the start. Had to flag a waitress. Had to remind her we needed silverware and etc. Still waiting for waitress. Thank God for Michelle the bartender, she jumped in, took our order, served us and was attentive until we left. We did not like the calamari, too thin and dry. Salads were great. The meals were good except they were not "hot" enough. We did not complain informing Michelle to pass on to kitchen when paying the bill. She stated we should have let her know upon being served. She was right but we noticed the waitresses seemed over whelmed which the kitchen was probably also. Michelle was doing double duty anyway. The desert was great! Sorry, will not be back. have been
This place is wonderful! Not only is their food delicious, but they also have a great business! When I went to pick up our order, it wasn’t ready. Someone forgot to put our order in the system. They were extremely busy and it was an honest mistake. The manager apologized, put our order in right away, and gave us a discount and free deserts! Our meals were ready within 10 minutes. I highly recommend Italian Village.
