I was looking forward to having breakfast here, but my experience was less than satisfactory. Two different servers couldn't tell my guest if they had herbal tea, nor could they tell me what liquor was in the Bloody Maria. I should have known it was tequila, but their first guess was gin. My guest asked if she could get her bacon crisp and was told they didn't know how it had been cooked that morning. I suggested they put it back on the grill, which they must have, as hers was served “crisp.” Our breakfasts were served lukewarm, with my single add-on pancake burnt. Potatoes we're barely disguised whole baked with a few pieces chopped. Neither she nor I will be returning anytime soon. I should add that even though our servers were not very knowledgeable, they were pleasant.

My guy and I enjoyed our food. Everything tasted fresh and and most importantly from scratch. Nothing tasted truly processed. The food came out in a timely fashion we were impressed and very pleased. Definitely was crowded when we went but that did not affect their performance or customer service. We will be returning. I hope this helps...Peace and many blessings to yo

Excellent! Nice cozy restaurant that accommodated our huge family. Our waitress was NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING (LIGHT SKIN WOMAN WITH BRAIDS IN A BUN, DIDNT GET HER NAME)The tall guy was patient and kind also. There was one waitress who was terrible though and rude to my aunt, threw the straw on the table when asked and rolled her eyes. Other than that it was good.

Don’t you just hate when you hype up a restaurant to a friend, insist they give it a try, just for the place to let you down and embarrass you?Inn on Coventry has been awesome in the past, and I feel bad even writing this review, but it needs to be said. The last several times I’ve been there, the food hasn’t been up to its usual standards, but today was so bad, I probably won’t be back for a long time, if ever. Now, I completely get that Covid has screwed up a lot of restaurants. But up until the past few weeks, this place was still pretty darn good. Inn on Coventry used to have amazing buttermilk pancakes, with the crispy edges. And I loved that you can order one, two, or three, because some days, I just can’t eat more than one pancake. I was starting to come in weekly for these great pancakes. Also, the wait staff was so friendly, making this place an all-around pleasure. Then I noticed the service was getting lax — and I was usually going during the week, at times when the place wasn’t busy. But whatever, still good pancakes, right? Not so much the last several times. No more crispy edges, which was bumming me out, but at least they still had a great flavor. And while I wasn’t getting refills on my coffee, I wrote it off as mistakes happen. But today, when a friend decided he wanted to try the place with me, it all came crashing down. By this point, I’d accepted those crispy edges were just a fond memory, but these pancakes were actually burned. One part of my friend’s order never arrived (luckily, he wasn’t charged for said item, so I guess it was never written down in the first place). We seldom saw our server, but the place was packed, so we forgave that and the burnt pancakes. But then we made our fatal mistake of asking for separate checks *cue scary music.* The waitress became irate, saying it would take a while to make that happen. No biggie, we didn’t complain. When she came back about 10 minutes later, she huffily handed us the bill, wrote out the exact amounts we each spent, and said we could use that at the cash register. We were also berated for not asking for separate checks at the beginning of the meal, saying they figure most people are either paying together or using Venmo to send each other the money. Our mistake, we admitted, and profusely apologized. Tucking our proverbial tails between our legs, we then took this bill to the cashier. There was much confusion amongst several employees as to whether taxes had been applied to that bill. That was never cleared up, and my friend pointed out he was being overcharged. The cashier actually smirked at him, not offering to fix the issue. He went through the bill, going over each item, and sure enough, he was correct. The cashier angrily gave him his change and refused to say another word. I guess the customer ISN’T always right anymore. I think I might have been charged incorrectly too, but I’m non-confrontational to a fault, and by this point, I was just over the whole situation.Again, the pandemic has made everything crazy. I get it. But judging by the stress I’ve been observing recently in this previously pleasant staff and the drop in food quality, I believe something has gone seriously wrong with this place. It’s still drawing in plenty of customers, possibly due to the lack of other similar options nearby — but they lost two customers today. I’m sad to see this place slipping so badly.

Delicious, busy, and adorable.. This would be the 3rd time I've visited this place and I drive a good 40 minutes to get here. I almost always get a lemon ricotta pancake and a benedict of some kind. Their service has always been on point and I have had 3 different servers. Its great to get a good breakfast and then be able to walk it off with all the shopping along Coventry. I will always suggest this place for breakfast, if you're willing to get up, and drive!

A fantastic place for breakfast, highly recommended.Egg Benedict, steak and Croissants were scrumptious

Food was mid. Waitress was sub-mid. She would disappear for half an hour at a time. Did not even give us our food herself or asked us how the food was. The food we were served was cold and tasteless. The dining area was super crowded. Plenty of staff walking around and taking up space, but no one looked like they were doing anything — just chillin with their hands in their pockets. Server took 30 min to give us our bill after we requested. One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had.

This is truly the best breakfast place in Cleveland! The corned beef hash is fabulous, especially with rye bread. Along with wonderful food, I love the Inn’s ambience and warm vibe.

Friendly server. Ordered breakfast: veggie Mando and it was tasty but unfortunately the honefries were cold. I like hot food so might just be me. If go again though. Rest of the folks with me liked what they got especially the chocolate chip pancakes.

The service was great. My omlette was superb. My grits were bland. My pancakes were delicious. The parking was terrible. The restaurant was cozy! They went the extra mile to stay open longer as to not kick us out at the proper closing time. Which helped because it was a first date.
