Went here for my birthday with my husband and mom for the first time on 6/22. We went later in the evening and wanted to sit on the roof top. Walked in and the restaurant was pretty empty inside and upstairs on the roof top. Odd based on the reviews and recommendations I had been given but it was also a Wednesday. We were served at the bar and told we could order food and drinks there and then grabbed a table to sit and eat. The bartender that night was nice and gave us recommendations. As somebody who was born and raised in the south and on southern cooking I always tend to give restaurants with ‘southern’ menus some grace. Because nobody will cook it like mama or grandma. However, I didn’t have a chance to tell any of the staff there because nobody came to check on us after we got our food. But please, take the creamed corn off your menu- or fix your recipe. We ordered the Georgia Caviar, this was very bland. The cheese curds were, OK. They were out of the corn bread which we tried to order because it was recommended. The 24 hour wings were bland and not temperature hot when brought out.I got the shrimp po’ boy as my meal. It was, IMO one of the better meals on the menu.My mom got the wedge salad, which she said was good. She also got the She Crab soup, which was cold when it was brought to the table. My husband got the boneless chicken dinner that he said he was unimpressed by. He said the sauces were good but the breading on the chicken wasn’t good. Our frozen margaritas were good.Overall this place has potential and the vibe is there. I really wanted to love this place but the menu needs some love first.
I loved this restaurant. I went a Friday night before they got too busy. The staff was friendly, especially the bartenders!!! They were very attentive. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, which I’ve never had, and they were really good with sauce! I also ordered the chicken sandwich, with the chicken on the side. I can’t recall the bartenders, but they were super awesome and friendly. I also had a cup of the Lobster Bique soup, which I highly recommend. A fair amount of lobster in it, so definitely worth the money.
Only got the She Crab Soup here, and it was good. They didn't have any of my first choice, the mussels, and nothing else on the menu seemed interesting at the time. I went around 4pm on a Wednesday, so it was a little empty, but people were coming in for happy hour. Seems like a cool and lively place. They also have a rooftop bar that just opened.
The wait staff and hosts were so kind and enthusiastic. Delicious arugula salad with fresh strawberries, Marconi almonds, goat cheese, cornbread croutons and chicken! Husband ordered the baked mac and cheese which was baked to perfection. Also, our pup was greeted with a goodie bag with a toy and treats as well as a bowl of water. Highly recommend!!
We arrived on Sunday afternoon. The gravy fries were amazing, like poutine but less salty. My wife had a salad with fried chicken and I had the baked Mac&Cheese with fried chicken. Both were meals were excellent, the staff nice, and they even give dog owners a puppy bag with treats and a dog toy (very generous and unexpected).Highly recommended this place.
Had breakfast here on a beautiful April Sunday at around 10:45. They only do brunch on the weekends.Had the Jenny’s Mess, was absolutely what I needed, healthy hearty portions, and of course great vibes and music.Felt like we were VIP, only ones in the place at 11 am. It should be more busy on a beautiful early spring Sunday!Cleveland go try em out for breakfast, you won’t be disappointed!!
I've visited here twice now - once for lunch and once for brunch. Both times the food and the service were fantastic. Everything we tried on the menu was great - I highly recommend both the green tomato hushpuppies and the burger. Loved the atmosphere here as well - a great addition to E. 4th.
Went here after a Cavs game after going in to three other bars trying to watch the other NBA play-in game that started at 10:00 that apparently no one thought was worth showing. ?Immediately upon checking out the TV situation, an employee asked if there was something we needed. We inquired if they would mind changing the channel and our server, Taylor, did so without hesitation. She then continued to give us amazing service and great food (try the cheese curds!). We even got to have a little conversation with the owner who told us about the bar decor (all concert posters from shows she’d been to). Great vibes, great service, will definitely be back again. ??
A great new addition to the e4th restaurant community. The funky, upbeat vibe is what drew us in but the food is what will have us coming back! The chicken and waffles is heaven on a plate, you must try it!
A cool little place to enjoy a drink or two with a nice view from the window seats.Thank you,LEAGUEOFRIDERSMC.COM
