Nice place, but waited 30 min before getting waited on. Service is very slow but the employees are extremely nice. Drinks and music are great! Food is over cooked, too much coating so you can't taste the food.
The food was very good. Roger manager was nice to greet us and make us feel very welcome. I will definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you.
Great restaurant with delicious food and drinks. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the manager Roger made sure our experience here was top notch. Great place for casual dining or special date nights. I highly recommend the Jambalaya
Let me start by saying this restaurant is AMAZING! While in Cleveland for vacation, my husband and I went here for a quick bit before a concert and we were not disappointed. We received top tier service and everyone was welcoming. Our waitress Lanita was an absolute pleasure. She was very attentive and helpful. This place truly pays attention to details; from the food to special occasions as my 30th birthday. We were greeted by the manager Roger and Head Chef which was special touch. The icing on the cake was a birthday song from the entire staff! If you are thinking of a place in Cleveland to go with tasty food and friendly staff, look no further!
Trying a new restaurant on date night can be both fun and scary ... especially when you're not sure what you're getting yourself into. House of Creole opened up recently and we decided to take a chance. It is a welcome addition to the new lineup of Cleveland restaurants.I've eaten in the space many times when it was Hodges and Sixth City Sailors Club. The outdoor patio served as a perfect backdrop for several al fresco meals last year. I was looking forward to seeing what they had done with the place. The interior is a lot lighter than I remember it being. With Big Easy style accoutrements, the vibe is classy and fun. The food matches the vibe.Everything we ordered was amazing. I'm not sure if Jeff Miskiri is considered a celebrity chef yet, but the calibur of the food makes you think he should be. Where else in Cleveland can you get fried green tomatoes and succotash made to southern perfection? I also highly recommend the Cajun steak and cheese egg rolls and the honey butter corn bread is tasty enough to be eaten as a dessert. Bring a big appetite.
The food and service was excellent!!! Will definitely be coming back. Also the portions are so big so if you're greedy like me lol definitely a great spot to visit
Good food and great atmosphere ‼️ I will be back Zari is an amazing waitress make sure you request her‼️
Super flavorful food. Wings were nice and meaty with a crispy finish. Staff were kind and attentive. Definitely worth the visit!
Amazing food and friendly staff. Glad the city finally had a legit Southern Food establishment. Was a little hard to find (across from Marble Room) but glad we did!
My fiancée and I visited this restaurant and I’m so glad we did! We had the chargrilled wings, fried Mac and Cheese topped with crab, the fish po boy, and the jambalaya with fettuccine and everything was amazing. The jambalaya was extremely flavorful and the fish was fried to perfection. The hurricanes were comparable to the original hurricanes in NOLA. If you’re looking for a new spot to try, make sure you keep this in mind. You won’t be disappointed!
