Best pastrami sandwich I tried in years.
Pretty good bakery overall. I was kinda taken back by the front of the store and the neighborhood wasn't the best, but they are friendly and have great tasting bakery nonetheless!
The wife and I stopped into this bakery while on a brief business trip. We were looking for a quick coffee & breaded toast spot for a quick bite prior to our meeting. The wife looked up on her phone to see any local Latin food spots and were surprised to find a Puerto Rican bakery nearby. We were super excited and looking forward to Cafe con Leche and pan. The restaurant had amazing cultural decor, typical Island packaged eats that you would only find in PR. So we stood in line to order and asked for our bread and coffee. Instantly the waitress says she doesn't have milk for the coffees only creamer. This is not common culturally for Puerto Rican coffee so we were a bit taken back (my wife is from PR by the way). The bread was absolutely AMAZING and tasted exactly how they prepare it in PR. I must say that the staff were extremely accomadating and attentive and made up for the lack luster coffee experience.
We ordered one of everything on the menu. Everything SUCKED ! One of us is PR from NY one is PR from Chicago and 2 were PR from the Island. This food is being cooked for people who don’t know any better. Someone whoWas born and raised here in Cleveland generation recommended it. They obviously have parents that can’t cook and have never been to the island. Total waste of money. The food went into the trash . The only thing good was the bread .
We ordered everything on the menu. 1 of us is Puerto Rican from NY one is PR from Chicago and 2 are from the island . We were recommended by a 2nd generation PR born in Cleveland Obviously this persons parents can’t cook and neither can they. They’ve obviously never been to the island either. The food at this place is made for people who don’t know any better. It was AWFUL and went into the trash. What a waste of $$$$. The bread is good nothing else not even the desserts . This place is a disgrace to the race and culture!

First time getting bakery...it was fresh & very flavorful.. bread was soft & sweet just the way I like it.. Customer service was excellent.. Definetly going back to get dinner next time...will be passing this along..nice ,clean establishment with great service & prices are good...just what we need in the neighborhood.
Has some of the best service I've seen in a long time. Unlike other places I've been as a cook/chef that serve food other than confections, Gually's opened in my neighborhood last year, and it has the cleanest smell, inside and out, that I've ever experienced. The quality of food and pastries is almost unmatched for the area in Cleveland that I live. It's my personal opinion that this little place needs to have a huge following. Highly recommend. I have become,and will continue to be, a regular !
