Stopped for lunch got take out ordered the signature burger! How do you burn it! It was so burnt on the outside I had to cut that to taste the meat. The inside was a nice pink color but the flavor still charred and not good. Had such high hopes with the recommendations online. It was expensive and in my opinion not worth it! The fries were hot but over cooked! This was a total flop for our lunch!
I had a birthday party for my wife in their private party room upstairs. We could not of asked for a better time. The bartenders were absolutely amazing and I am still getting compliment texts on how good the food was.This place is great for a quick pint and some wings before a game but even better for parties.
Have been going to the Flat Iron in the flats for many years for lunch and dinner. I almost always get the Lake Erie perch. They do it old school with a very light coating of breading and fry it perfect every time. They have been doing it right for a very, very long time. This is the way Lake Erie perch was meant to be eaten! They also have many other menu items to choose from. My kids and girlfriend always like the food as well. The owner also recently added outdoor seating with a beautiful awning. With all the changes and improvements to the flats, it is a great way to enjoy a meal and watch the river. Make sure you drop in for St. Patty's day and catch the CFD pipe and drum corps after the parade. It is incredible to see!
We were there the day after St. Paddy’s Day and the servers were still smiling and friendly - very good band - people were dancing in the entryway and all available floor space - fun! We had cold beers and appetizers to share - Buffarogies - Buffalo pierogies - were so good. Oldest Irish pub in Cleveland. On street parking.
Kinda discovered this place by accident. Beautiful, great ambiance and great energy in this restaurant. Great food. Awesome server (think her name was Joie/Jodie/or Josey..??) but she was too kind and sweet. Will be taking family and friends back there and giving them more business. Try the Pretzel flavored beer. Its Phenomenal.
Great place! Good is awesome and the pricing is perfect. You get a lot of good for a great price. Service is always great as well.
