Our server was great. And it was unbelievable how fast the food came out-- which tasted great and was a generous portion (very much American sized). The staff was dressed in a manner fitting a nicer venue, the lighting was good if maybe not executed great (switch to warm tone fairy lights and do better with cable management), decor was okay. There is a bar in the back. You can dress nicely, I recommend business casual. But you can wear jeans and a shirt with no collar. Prepare to spend $50-70 for dinner for two.
Cozy and intimate restaurant with the atmosphere of a Tuscan inn. Rustic decor, low lights and knowledgeable severs with heavy accents. The food is amazing. Moderately sized menu includes an assortment of meats, seafood and pastas in addition to the specials of the day. Don't miss the grilled calamari and the Aetna salad with oranges and fennel. Extensive wine list and a full bar. Reserve a table a couple of weeks in advance and ask to be seated away from the door.
My friends and I were in Cleveland for the weekend and decided to stroll along Little Italy for dinner on Saturday. This place caught our eye because one of my friends is from Sicily and the menu reminded her of the dishes she used to have at home. Unfortunately we were unable to grab a table on Saturday because it was so packed, but we came back the next night and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing and the service was just as phenomenal. We ordered the octopus salad for the table and I got the black ink pasta while my friends got the fusilli and the gnocchi. The mussels on the octopus salad were some of the best I’ve ever had and all of our dishes were so great. Me and my friend had a long drive back from Cleveland right after dinner, and our server was kind enough to bring her espresso before the drive and all of us dessert on the house. It was truly the best way to end such a wonderful weekend with friends and I hope to be back again soon!
The only thing I can recommend about this place is MAKE RESERVATINS! Was a bit last minute and the only reservation we could get same day was at the bar. It was before the orchestra, and it really is a tiny place so even the bar was fully reserved. The bar is normally not a favorite, but it was actually fun. We met 2 ladies that are regular customers and was very nice chatting with them over cocktails. Excellent bartender, and I hear he was just a stand in.The menu is not huge, but from my friends in the industry no establishment can be all things to all people. If you want a huge selection, go to Denny's. If you want good food, look to places that do fewer things, but do them well. I'm a very picky eater and there were more than enough choices for me.OK, the food, very good. The caprese and casa salads are both excellent choices. There was a special on black pasta with shrimp, it looked wonderful, and my friend enjoyed it. I had the Scaloppina al funghi, and it was also very good. Tartufo al cioccalato was desert, end of a very enjoyable meal. So, next trip to little Italy, if you like good food and service, think ahead and book yourself a table. I see that they are 'only' 4.6, so keep in mind that (a) everyone is entitled to a bad night and (b) some people really have unrealistic expectations. We were a bit late, called and they held our spot open for us. Even though we were running late, we did have time for a drink and 3 courses, never felt rushed and still made it to Severance Hall with a few minutes to spare.

had a great meal with our party of 6 tonight. First time here and was a bit hesitant since there was a smattering of some poor reviews in the midst of otherwise 4.6 rating. All our meals were excellent. They ran out of a staple appetizer(calamari) so we ordered a double order of mussels which did not disappoint. Had a fairly unique vegetable minestrone which was great.Entrees ordered: chicken, seafood risotto, seafood stew, pasta scampi, rainbow trout, duck(actually best duck I've had - so moist). All excellent. I got to try a bit of each of the meals and happy customers all around. We had meals in Italy recently and we all said we would have been quite happy to have eaten these there. We even had a complimentary tiramisu dessert - just like in Italy! Where's the free Limoncello though! Haha.Waiter was excellent with great service. He even did double duty and made my drink! Definitely will come back and try others on the menu. Some advice: do call and make a reservation. It is quite small inside. Maybe seating 25 people including the bar.
Amazing! Cozy atmosphere with real authentic Italian food. Great wine selection too. The duck and the black pasta made our night. We can’t wait to be back!
Extremely small dining area, watered down pasta sauce, mediocre service at best, auto-gratuity of 20% for 5+, 400% markup on common table wines. Absolutely nothing special about the place. Poor all around.
Great service, great food, amazing atmosphere. The owner is very kind and is a great chef. I can't say enough great things about this place!
This place is amazing! I am Italian and it is authentic! The staff knows Italian too! This is my favorite Italian restaurant!!
