I went to El Tango with some friends and we had a great time. The food and drinks were very tasty. Highly recommend the chips and guacamole, and the baked corn nachos were delicious, too. Friendly owner and chef, Antonio, worked to provide great food and drinks for us, in a very casual and comfortable atmosphere. We were not in a hurry, so the time needed for fresh food preparation wasn't an issue. Because we went a little late, I called earlier to verify the restaurant was open and he knew to expect us. Definitely a "thumbs up", and I will return.
The food here is unbeatable, but you may need some patience. Antonio the owner is the chef, server, cashier and everything else. If you're patient, the wait is worth it. Bring cash - he doesn't take credit cards.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Mexican food cooked to order and served by the owner. Every ingredient fresh and utilized to perfection, from the guac to the bursting-at-the-seams tacos on grilled tortillas to the key lime pie, which is blow-your-mind amazing. Great margaritas, too. Still thinking about this meal the next day. Can’t wait to go back. FYI, owner accepts cash only at this time.

It would be nice to know their hours. Google says one thing but they're always randomly closed or randomly open.. it's like they work when they want to. I think that's bad business. I called today because Google says they're open but someone answered and said that they are closed because it's too hot to be working on the grill... Lived here many years and never been here because of this reason.

The owner Asad is pretty cool but he’s always hanging out with this Antonio guy so sometimes the service is a little slow. Food is great though.
