This is my local go-to place for quality meat, free-range eggs, bakery made with real butter, and friendly social atmosphere. As its part of the training center, sometimes the process is slower, but always congenial.
Excellent products and cheerful, friendly service. Always lots of people around, so its a social event. There are lots of neighborhood papers, notices and things to occupy one while waiting. Service isn't the fastest, but always sincere. Prices on the interesting groceries are a tad high, but, some items are hard to find elsewhere. I especially like that I can ask for special orders. Its always a pleasure to shop where staff makes you feel welcome and the products are quality.

There's something about the layout, when you first enter, that seems odd. I wish the counters were more open and it is hard to read the menu on the walls. The food and the people are wonderfully welcoming though and we love to go here now. Everything we have tried so far is good to great and the prices are also good. Edwins is a Cleveland institution now and its great to see everyone drop by here.
Edwins Butcher Shop & Training Center is a jewel in Cleveland. It combines a great patisserie, diner serving breakfast and lunch, and a butcher and gourmet food market. The 3 facilities are staffed by graduates from the Training Center, many who are recently released felons. The goal is to break the cycle. The bakery items are fabulous including cretzels , palmiers, scones, donuts and breads. The Diner is decorated like a French bistro with a great breakfast menu. The staff are friendly and proud to tell their stories or describe what they just baked. It is our go to on Saturday mornings.
Excellent Meats fresh reasonable prices
Nice butcher shop. We order by phone and pick up shortly after. The quality of deli corned beef and pastrami is excellent.
