Stumbled across this sweet place for dinner- we were in a rush and the server/cooks ushered us in with the swiftest kindness. The food was fresh, cozy, and perfectly spiced. The guava/pom drinks were divine, and the absolute precious server complimented our night by sneaking rice pudding into my to go box. Would 100% visit again. thank you!
While not an expert in Indian cooking so please correct me if I am wrong, but chicken breast should never be served dry and overcooked. Both mine (Chicken Shahi Korma) and my friend's (Butter Chicken) entrees were served with overcooked chicken. The saffron rice and both sauces served with the chicken were delightful and had nuanced flavors. Just dissappointed in the chicken.
We came from Chicago Illinois and my husband is from Pakistan and a REAL COOK, The store is nice and clean, however the food was not cooked fully! I'm pregnant and thought I was going to die! If your from india/Pakistan then you know the cook needs serious training before you guys get sued! The staff is great so hopefully they get a better cook!
Stop putting raisins in your biryani and almonds in samosa!! That is gross!! I am huge on Indian food. please minimize the amount of sweetness u add to your food. Everything I ordered was sweet! If that’s what I wanted I’d go to a dessert place
Don't be fooled by the simple storefront appearance. The food is absolutely smashing. We ate too much but it was worth it try several different menu items. We had a variety of meat and vegetarian choices and they were all excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. If you're concerned about Indian food because you think it'll be too spicy you don't have to worry about Cafe Tandoor. The flavors were rich but not spicy at all.

I have taken out food from here many times. They cook absolutely delicious food. (I adore the butter chicken!) It’s always fresh and prepared at the time they tell me to arrive. We are lucky to have this little gem in the Heights.
Best Indian! Love the lamb korma there! We used to come here once a week until we moved but we will definitely be back every-time we come to visit our family in Cleveland.
I had a 65th Birthday Dinner and my party of 18 people were very Happy with our Total experience. All agreed we will return and let our friends know , if you enjoy Indian Cuisine this is the place you can feel good before , during and after at this establishment. A+ to the business. Thanks
Always great. We've been coming here for 30 years. The food is the best Indian cuisine in Cleveland.The service has always been excellent, and tonight was no exception.We'll be coming here for another 30 years.
