Well, to start off.. the ambience and the place was not good. It's a self serve system which I didn't know going in, but that did seem to be a problem when I noticed unclean tables, floor and even the rest rooms were not well maintained. First, I had hard time finding this place on the street as I couldn't find their name board from the street.. so messed up I felt. So, had to call and confirm what I should look for (@ BC). Tried their chicken biryani but it was so spicy.. I mean I eat spicy food but spices (in form of powder.. like crushed pepers) were added too much, literally every bite felt as if I was having a full spicy meal but I'll say that their chicken was tender. My colleague wanted to have chat.. well thats in their name (Bombay Chat) but was shocked to find out that they only had Papdi chat (I mean by weekend noon time they are out of all dishes!!) So he tried it and it was so bitter and left the full plate to waste after eating a spoon full. They didn't seem to worry too much about the review as well. Finally he settled for vada which was nice. Overall, not a great experience.

The food here was great! I got the chicken curry, and the medium spice level was just right! Be sure to specify mild/no spice if you can't take the heat (my friend learned that the hard way). The service was decent, but the restaurant itself made me a bit uncomfortable. It was a hot day, and it was even hotter inside. The floor was sticky, too.

it was good , but there were a ton of little fibers that i’m really hoping were just from ginger or something . i pulled a long fuzz off of a different piece of chicken and that was the end of my meal because i felt uncomfortable eating it at that point . really hope they take care of this problem because i’ve seen other reviews saying the same :/

Been there twice - very good food. Steady stream of people on Saturdays. Mostly people of Indian origin eating there while we were there. If you ask for high spice level, it will be extremely spicy. If you order mild, it was just colored rice. So be careful with how order the spice level.Veg Manchurian that I ordered was a little burned.Fried rice was better than biriyaniOnly self service

The staff was very rude. I ordered butter naan they give me burned naan without butter on it and when I asked them to put butter on it they told that it is what it is and answered very rudely... Will never again visit this restaurant and not recommend it to anyone.

The Butter Chicken was really good, and the naan was delicious. I tried the Mango Lassi was great. Overall good experience and the delivery was quick.

I’ve had better Indian food than Bombay Chaat. We have asked for the butter chicken not to be spicy but they made it spicy anyway so my colleagues were very disappointed. The daal was good. Chicken saag was ok.

Aayush and Siddharth are working nice. They don’t even takes tips. Nice service. Fried rice is awesome and mango lazy too.

It was not same before and it gets costly a lot

I was going to let it go when I saw one of the server touching people’s food and salad with his bare hand and no mask on.But this is gone way too far. I got couple of human hairs in my food. Saw one and I thought may be this is just burnt food and throw it away. But when I saw two more then I got sure that these are human hair. Not sure how they are keeping their food license active because there was no safety precautions taken. Not sure even the health department visit these restaurants or not anymore. These times all restaurant owners should take extra precautions with food because of these diseases and viruses.
