Got the Bibi Fan Favorite for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. It made for a very satisfying lunch that was filling but did not leave me feeling stuffed. I would absolutely return if in the area.
Healthy eats for sure. Food is always fresh and tasty. I really love there glass noodles. Less carbs and a much healthy option than regular noodles. But since I stopped eating noodles I get the super green mix. No compliant at all. Highly recommend if you haven't tried them yet. It's kinda like a Japanese Chipotle lol
Food was delicious! But when I ordered one of the specials it didn’t come with everything listed on the menu. It’s better to make your own bowl so you get everything you want. Was a little disappointed in the service.
The menu is completely gluten-free. And very delicious. It is Asian Grill food. It is a build-your-own type bar. You choose your ingredients to build your bowl of food. The day we visited the ice machine was broken and the repair person was not available until the next day. So we drank room-temperature beverages. They were still good, but I did miss the ice. The restaurant was also a little warm -- not hot, but not cool.
The food was very good at this completely gluten-free restaurant. The customer builds their own bowl of food. I chose the purple rice as my base and the spicy chicken. The spicy chicken was very delicious but not tasty. They had trouble with their ice machine the day we were there and so had to drink room-temp beverages in a less than cool restaurant. Still, I would go back and recommend that others try it out.
The price increased A LOT (was $6.99 now $8.99) over the pandemic. And the portion is about 20% less when you have a pickup order as compared to ordering in line. Should've blamed inflation but near 30% price hike seems unusual for a chain restaurant.Otherwise, the overall experience is okay. I just hope they don't push the price any further.
PLEASE DON'T GET A JOB HERE, IT IS A TERRIBLE WORK ENVIORMENT. the GM JESSICA SOTO, has no idea what she is doing, she will fire new people with potential, over minor infractions, just to teach her other employees a lesson. Also the managers will not train you properly, and Jessica will blame you the new worker for not knowing what to do. There is a total lack of communication, and the workers who have been there for a long time do not get in trouble for straight up refusing to do their jobs.
Provided that you select your toppings well, I think the rice bowl is pretty solid. The miso soup, however, could use some work. I remember that it used to be very bland and lacking in flavor, but when I went there again recently, it had changed. I saw kelp which is a good sign, but it was way too salty. I think they added soy sauce to it. If so, I fail to understand why. A bit of effort into making the miso soup actually taste somewhat normal would elevate the eating experience here. It's really not too hard. If it's bland, just add more miso (without going overboard). Roughly 1 tbsp of miso per cup of water. You could probably use less miso if you go the extra step of using dashi or dashi powder.
The food was very good for quick serve, but the location was not very sanitary. The silverware and sauce station was very dirty and needed cleaned. The tables were not cleaned after people were done with them and the trays seemed to be dirty as well. I went back a second time to see if it they were just understaffed or very busy on this particular night, but it was just as dirty as the first night I was there. I ended up leaving on this second time since I did not like the unsanitary feel. I would definitely come back for the food if it was a lot cleaner.
The only good thing about this experience was the fresh food & ingredients. The cashier was incredibly rude and acted as if he didn’t want to be at work. The line worker had no clue what he was doing. The staff is a little rough around the edges and just needs some customer service training. It looks like these restaurants are just hiring anybody regardless of attitude and customer service experience.
