I was charged a surprising $6.00 for having No ice in my drink. Found out with the bill! Even though they shook it over ice and strained it! Mashed potatoes were ice cold
Great time, amazing food and great service. Took my parents and they had a great time. Again, have to say, the good was amazing and drinks were great. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Very nice patio and the live music was really nice. The waiters were very respectful and did a great job. The appetizers were all perfect, especially the Torresmo and the Fried Cassava. Regarding the main plates, the FEijoada and the Xim Xim were really good, but the Churrasco de Picanha (Picanha's BBQ) was really under the expectations, the meat was hard and well done (we asked for medium-rare) and the taste was not good, nothing similar to real Brazilian picanha. In general it was a nice experience and lots of real Brazilian food, although the prices are too high for the quality of the food.
Excellent food
We visited during Porchfest. They had a wonderful booth set up outside with a selection of "street food" but we made reservations to be able to order off full menu. I already want to go back. They were extremely busy. The cocktails were creative and the food was absolutely delicious. The entire staff was very attentive. This was my third visit and I have never been disappointed with anything!
VERY disappointed! Perhaps the chef has changed but the food not as good as last visit and prices have gone up (like everything) quite a bit. Wife ordered steak MEDIUM, it came out well done. They re-did it, but of course this ruined the fun of eating together since my was getting cold as we waited. Ordered a particular cognac and were told by the waitress they did NOT serve Courvoisier, but instead offered Hennessy. Later, on the dessert menu, we noted that Courvoisier IS on the Liqueur list at $5.00 less than the Hennessy. Naturally, we asked for a compensation for being misled. The Asst Manager flat our REFUSED and also would not compensate for the wrong steak preparation. This is NOT the type of customer service we expect when dining out. I told the asst manager they would no longer have our patronage ... she didn't seem the least concerned!

Batuqui was absolutely excellent! The food and drinks were fresh and tasted phenomenal! The location was very unique and private! Definitely recommend for all occasions!
If you are looking for authentic Brazilian food this is 100% the right place. I discovered this gem while walking around the streets of Cleveland looking for another restaurant with a colleague. First time visiting here and let me tell you…It was OUTSTANDING! Our server Nicole served us to the finest doing a superb job making sure we were fully satisfied, very polite woman. Such great food in abundance. Brazilian flavors. Unique and tasty fusion. Fabulous backyard seating. Hint, make sure you come with an empty stomach ready to eat. Definitely will be coming back.
