What a great find! We were in Cleveland and wanted a light dinner, decided on sandwiches and stumbled upon this gem. Two cold sandwiches piled high with meat and homemade pasta salad. One burger served with no bun by request and homemade cole slaw. Everything was delicious and definitely plenty to satisfy your appetite. Even the fresh brewed iced tea is amazing! I will wholeheartedly recommend Barristers Deli. I wish we lived closer so we could be regulars! Great food, great & friendly service, great prices.
Fresh and delicious for 58 years! Classic deli selection with something for everyone and homemade sides. Owners are lovely people. You will leave happy and full! Must have in downtown Cleveland.
We stopped at Barrister’s Deli in Cleveland on our way home to Buffalo, NY. What a treat! we had a falafel pita, bacon cheddar chicken sandwich and shared some hand cut fries. Everything was homemade and delicious. The staff is passionate about their menu and very friendly. If you are in Cleveland or driving through, try this place!
Definitely a great choice for a quick bite! ? My son and stopped in here for the first time recently and were both VERY pleased with our meals. The service was amazing! I ordered the special and it was ready in minutes. My son got the Perch sandwich and he said it was fresh and right. The pop from the fountain was the best I've ever had.
Had a very late lunch there and I'm glad I did. Corned beef was tasty ,warm and lean. Cup of beef vegetable soup and an order of hand cut fries. So,I was approaching a somewhat inflated feeling. But,it was worth it. Nick the owner said that he had been there ,I think ,for 29 years. PhD in Corned beef. Mary the waitress is a real sweetheart. So ,get on over to 14th and Hamilton and eat. Also,check out the furniture,beautiful and custom made.

Fantastic Everything! My son and I dropped by for a late lunch and were not disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly face and had our food in record time. My son ordered the Whopper, and I ordered the New Yorker - can't go wrong with either. Huge portions, super high quality sandwiches, and don't forget the house made potato salad. If you're in the Gateway district for a game, work, or just passing through, you need to stop by Barrister's Deli.
We stopped in for lunch and had the best experience. The food was all homemade and absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great and the service was extremely friendly. Great place to grab a meal or a drink. We will definitely be coming back!
Barrister’s was amazing! Definitely our favorite deli in Cleveland. Great prices and even better service, everything was home made and delicious. The vibes were so wholesome and welcoming, can’t wait to come back!
First time in this food was just amazing I got a jumbo corn beef my bread was toasted it was full of meat and just the right amount of cheese. The fries was enough to feed 2/3 people fresh and hot. May I add the corn beef was not just some lunch meat it was that good cooked homemade corn beef. I go back a second time I got the same thing but added chicken fingers yes they were crunchy and full of meat. Great place large menu with monthly specials, sorted feels like a southern comfort family.
