My enjoyment of Barrio was based on the ambience and service. It is a cool little place with outdoor seating, great decor and lively ambience. I sat at the bar so had great, quick service from an Amy Winehouse-looking person. She was fast and helpful. Of course, I was sitting right in front of the booze, so this helps. I ordered the dirty tacos, swapping the sauce for cilantro-lime. They were so salty. At first I thought the salt must not have been shaken but instead dumped as the first bite was so salt. The rest was less salt. But then the second taco, too salty overall. The tortillas were good, soft and fresh. I loaded sour cream on to try to kill the salt, but really the taste was just salt. I also had a margarita, just ok.

Waitress was super nice. Great atmosphere. But as a Hispanic person from Texas….. the tacos…. don’t deserve to be called tacos. I get that the place has a really appealing vibe and I WANTED to like it but the food was just not great. Red salsa tasted like lunchable salsa (maybe even worse, I’m sorry), the meats didn’t really taste super flavorful and the textures and tastes are nowhere near authentic or what I’d consider to be good.I don’t mean to sound rude but if you’re expecting GOOD or authentic Mexican style tacos this fusion hipster tourist trap is not the spot ?

Fantastic atmosphere - great drink selection - amazing tacos. You can select pre built, or build your own. And. They actually have hot sauce. In an era when restaurants throw around terms like "diablo" "habanero" and "insanity" while having the spiciness of a piece of white bread, it was refreshing to be served a Carolina Reaper sauce that actually made me sit back and say DAMN. Hurt so good.

Came here on a whim since it was near our hotel. The food that we ate here was great! We had some custom tacos and chips with a mix of guac, queso, and pineapple salsa. All of which were great and filling. Couldn't have been happier with the food that we got.

Our waiter Andrew was absolutely incredible. He was on top of every empty glass of water, bringing a full one without me even having to ask.He made our visit here very enjoyable. The food was ok, but the dollar charge for a spoonful of rice is pretty crazy.Still... 5 stars because Andrew was phenomenal. The hostess with the two buns could have been more friendly, but at least she was nice to look at ??‍♀️

Dinner started off promising - the guacamole was actually pretty good even if the chips were not notable and in need of salt. My partner and I both got the chicken taco but if there was chicken in there it was just mush. Also the tortillas are served cold and neither of us enjoyed that. There was plenty of shrimp in my shrimp taco but it wasn’t really spicy or seasoned. My cocktail tasted like watered down juice. The place was busy and I appreciated the hard-working waitress.

The place has a nice atmosphere, with street parking available nearby. Once you're seated, you fill out bubble sheets to describe the kind of tacos you want. There are two columns, with a spot for how many of each type you want. Chips are included with your order. The food is good, the customization is great, and overall I had a great experience here.

Had a great date lunch! The Guacamole was the absolute best

First time there on the recommendation of my daughter (a frequent guest). Had two of their Taco's. Had fun ordering/creating my made to order tacos off their alacarte menu order sheet. Also, the drinks are really good; recommend the Margaritas and Bourbon drinks.

Superb salsa. I was so impressed I bought a jar on the spot. Excellent tacos as well. Would definitely go back.
