The bar food is surprisingly good and the drinks did not disappoint. If you are looking for a good time with friends and some karaoke, you have found the spot. Tostado's is a genuinely fun bar in the very happening area of Columbia-Tusculum.
I'm gonna start by saying the service was quite nice, our waitress was friendly and kept reassuring us that our order would be ready soon and apologizing for the wait.The food took about an hour and a half to come out, the place wasn't crowded. One of the items we ordered (4 items total) took so long to be ready we just asked it to be put in a takeout box.The tacos were plain, dry, and had grated parmesan on them for some reason, which I didn't expect at a Mexican restaurant, to be honest.The salsa for the chips was very watery and I'd compare it to a cheap grocery store brand, not restaurant quality at all.Overall it was a negative experience mainly due to the wait time and poor quality of the food. I wouldn't recommend this place at this time.
DO NOT EAT HERE. This is being posted 2/25/22. Got a burrito on Uber eats. Woke up around 1am and projectile vomited all over my floor with burning pains in my chest. Then woke up at 2 am same thing. Starting at 3am, I would be up every hour with painful dry heaves with nothing coming out. When I finally felt able to get up and walk around, I instantly rushed to the bathroom and have had dirrahea now for 4 hours. I was very close to going to the hospital last night because of the food from this restaurant. This is an honest review and not some hit piece I just don’t want anyone to have this experience. I may consider legal action for serving me clearly contaminated food.
Great place good service good food. We will go there again. There was 12 of us they took us rite in seated all of together.
We’ve eaten Mexican food all over the world. This is some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Everything is made on-site and the ingredients are fresh. Dishes are made to order. Hugo, the owner, is a character and very personable. We’ll go back.
Went to Karaoke night on 1/14/2022, with about 50 of my friends. The place was packed out and it was unexpected for the staff. Kelly Jo our waitress was so on top of things. Great service, great food, great time
Met my husband here on Karaoke night and decided to marry him exactly 3 yrs later at the same spot!!Hugo and his staff accommodated alllllll of us with the utmost hospitality and made our special night unforgettable!!! Kudos to the chefs…. Tacos were amazing!!
We were so lucky to find this place on our way back to Tennessee. The chicken fajitas are exceptional. Ask for the spicier habenero
My husband came home bragging about Tostado’s food and service after going there for lunch last week . So today we decided to go , so I could check it out . The owner is a very kind man ! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent! We will be going back and taking friends with us ! The chips and salsa are the best !
