Tom & Chee is an excellent place to stop and have lunch. We stopped in on a particularly cold day. We both got the build your own sandwich and my companion got the creamy tomato soup. I typically skip fast food soup, but she gave me a taste of hers and I was raving so loudly about it hat the staff brought me a complimentary tasting portion. I can not sing their praises enough. Wonderful staff. Speedy service. Clean restaurant. Reasonable prices.
Today I visited Tom and Chee at the recommendation of my coworker who raved how fabulous it was. For those that don’t know… it’s a grilled cheese and tomato soup restaurant. Get it… Tom and Chee. ? The menu had many variations of grilled cheese. I’m a traditionalist so I ordered the “kid” version with American cheese on white bread… don’t judge me. The bread was perfectly toasted filled with ooey gooey cheese that leached onto the basket. I ordered the creamy tomato basil soup because I love basil. But the basil in this soup was overpowering to me. I couldn’t enjoy all the other flavor components because all I could taste was basil. Additionally, my soup was warm and I hate warm soup. I want mine hotter than hot. My coworker wanted iced tea and it was out since it was the end of the day. Overall, it was a decent sandwich and soup. But if you are more adventurous, you can try all the other variations that they offer including one filled with a macaroni and cheese. I probably won’t try it again, but you shouldn’t if you love grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Food is always good today I ordered curbside because I had a trailer hooked to my truck no place to park I blocked traffic for 10 min before I went in to get my food. The girl was sitting at the counter no way she would have seen me
Was great food but the orders did get a little mixed up when coming out. Just be careful of large orders.

10/7/21: I ordered the combo meal to go as a walkin. I didn't expect the wait to be longer than 15 minutes but it was between 15-20 minutes. There was a slight mix up with my order but otherwise the sandwich and soup was delicious. I would definitely recommend trying out the menu. My only complaint is that they no longer use gripo chips on the signature sandwiches.Update 10/10/21: Location is closed on weekends until further notice
