We loved Tickle Pickle!! My husband had the Meatallica and loved it! My Pearl Jam was delicious!! I think it’s my new fave burger. My son (13) had the Nom Petty and my daughter (10) had the Bun Jovi - they both wolfed them down. The fries were great, too. My Purple Rain was awesome. The kids also got the Flan Halen & the James Brownie- fantastic! The staff was also great- helpful and sweet.
Awesome hidden gem
it's the best burger place in that whole area. it's also just a short walk from one of the local breweries
We were travelling back to Buffalo from Tennessee, and I looked online for vegetarian friendly places to get lunch, that was also open on Memorial Day, and not a chain restaurant. I found the Tickle Pickle online, and messaged them to make sure we could get lunch, and they were quickly responsive. We did stop in, and we all thought that the food was excellent. Our son rated it the highest of all of the restaurants we ate at over the long weekend. The next time we are in the Cincinnati area, we will definitely be returning for a meal.
Props for using Goetta. Totally cool for the tourists like us! Plus Grippos... Extra points! Only thing is, when it all came together, it was a little too sweet. Definitely worth a try, especially for out of towners! Husband, brother and sister in law all got the jalapeno burger. They loved it! Nice heat! Caramelized onions and goat cheese? Not sure on the cheese but burger came together in a fantastic way! Recommend!
What a vibe! Ordered the Hammstein so that I could specifically rate it NEIN out of ten -- Du HAST to try this place out ??Might not be my favorite burger in town, but what a gem of a neighborhood burger joint. Fun theme and an overall great place to grab a burger and hang out with some friends.
My sister and I first visited this establishment due to a restaurant a few door's down being closed for renovation. She ordered a veggie burger, milkshake strawberry and potato salad. She enjoyed the latter 2 item's. I ordered a burger no cheese ? with egg with chips and water. The burger ? was not what I expected. There was cheese ? on it when I asked for no cheese. The egg was over cooked. I would've preferred it to be cooked ? with some runny yoke. The burger ? was overly seasoned IMO. I like trying new places and thingsI guess you have to eat a few zeros before you run across your hero. I didn't care for the dark paint on the walls, but it seems to be a Gothic type of theme going on.
They sell the best burgers in Cincinnati and in the universe! Definitely come here everyday and go wacko! I also love how creative they get with their names like Bread Zeppelin and James Brownie. By the way, this is waaaaaaaay healthier than McDonald’s and more delicious
Stopped in for the first time today for lunch with my family and was super impressed with this little spot. The employee at the counter was extremely helpful in helping us to quickly narrow down our choices, including an excellent modification recommendation for my burger. The food was out quickly, though the unique murals on all of the walls kept the kids entertained during the brief wait. The food was not only excellent, but also affordable. We'll definitely be back again.
The burgers are tasty. Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I do with they had a little more variety. They have many burgers to choose from, but they all kind of have the same feel.
