Love this place. Their burgers are so good. I consider these burgers gourmet due to the different toppings and fixings that can be added. My favorite is the Fiery Burger with the best onion rings. My opinion is these are THE best burgers in town. Have found anything on the menu I don't like. If you don't like paper plates or plastic silverware, go elsewhere.
Went to The Turf Club today for early dinner. I was greeted promptly and felt welcomed walking in. My server was very good, assisted me with understanding the menu and how to build a fantastic burger. The burger came out out and delicious. I ordered the fries which were also hot and crispy. It was a very positive experience, I'll be going back
My daughter ordered a burger she said well done and when she bit inside it was red blood. The mushroom Greek cheese burger was huge and messy. She sent it back to get a well done burger like she asked for. Server came back quickly with the same burger same bitten into bun with blood stains on it. I asked why would they do this instead of replacing the burger with a new cooked one. She said it would have taken 20 min so thats why she got the same sloppy blood stained bun and food. This was ignorant, lazy, unsanitary in so many ways. We will never return and I will look into reporting to the health dept.
I finally got a chance to go to the turf club after wanting to for many years. It did not disappoint. I ordered a regular burger with everything and my wife ordered a regular burger with a gluten-free bun. She said the bun was delicious. The waitress stated that they tried many different ones out before they were happy with the quality and the taste. The burger was fantastic! The onion rings were also fantastic as well, probably the best I've ever had. I love the nostalgic atmosphere and our waitress Janice was very thorough and attentive, carefully taking care of us in a perfect manner. I will be back here many times in the future.
Went because it was a DDD show restaurant and rated well on trip advisor. My son loves burgers and we like to try many different kinds. These were very large but not as much flavor as we anticipated. We felt our total bill was overpriced and not worth it.
I dove an hour and forty five minutes and was not disappointed!! I will be going back. This is the epitome of "hole in the wall" places, but don't be fooled. This is a top notch establishment. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I am a repeat customer for life. Can't wait until the next visit. BRAVO! 5 STARS without hesitation!!
LOVE LOVE!After figuring out how to fit the giant burger into my mouth, I was the happiest. I took the recommendation of the bar tender and was NOT disappointed.A regular burger with Gouda and Bacon ??They also have gluten free buns which iye caramba for us intolerant folks makes everything a game changer.10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone.
You're worth it! Get the filet mignon burger, add some toppings, and for about $20 you'll have the best burger of your life!Staff is very friendly too!
I have been coming here for 20 years. The staff is always cordial and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here. My burger has always been perfect. I came in New Year's day and they were short staffed and the new owner Tom was cooking. OMG the best burger I've had here. It was very crowded but the staff organized the chaos with pure efficiency. Thumbs up Tom your cooks can learn a lot from you. ?
This place is a hidden gem. The burger was incredible and the pepper paw poppers were TO DIE FOR! 10/10 recommend
