We were in the area for the Van Gogh Exhibit downtown so we decided to check out one of the bars Taffer rescued ten years ago. Looks like they're slowly making renovations to the place. Felt kinda bad for the one bar tender during lunch taking care of the whole floor but he was pretty on top of everything. We ordered the pizza and the billy goat which both are good. If I wasn't pregnant would of tried a drink too. Definitely will have to come back to do that when I'm in Cinci next.
My first time eating here and was not disappointed at all…. Took my 84 yr. Old dad with us. We ordered the egg rolls for an appetizer. They were without a doubt the biggest egg rolls I’ve ever seen and tasted pretty good too. A touch greasy but hey they were deep fried duh!!…. Lol dad and I ordered the porkopolis Pizza with extra cheese!!! Yummy Hubby ordered the Irish sausage sandwich and sweet potato fries it was extremely tasty as well!!! Jon Taffer would be pleased that his hard work has paid off and the owners are still thriving!!!!
St Patrick’s Day at the Public House is a west side tradition. Great time with great people. The staff is amazing taking care of such a big crowd all day.
Pretty good place, food was hot and pretty good. Burger had a little too much grease and slightly undercooked for me but it was better than dry and over cooked. The appetizers were great and hot. Beer and Ale were very good as well. A nice selection to choose from. The four stars is only because the burger was slightly off. There were four of us and I will on one else looked to have any issues with their food. Just my luck I guess. Enjoyed the experience overall. Generous portions as well.
Kayla is one of best when it comes to serving drinks. She is very personable and you never want for nothing. She is simply a very impressive young lady that makes you want to come back because her is simply awesome! Lee Bridgetown
I am vegetarian and allergic to wheat and corn. I found things I could eat that were amazing. Totally worth it!!!! Fresh salads, a couple soggy pieces but it could be from the dressing. I was chatting while eating.
This was my second time dining here with my teenage son.I'm glad that he wanted to go here, the pizza was fantastic.Our server, Lauren, was excellent! She was the only person working the dining room and still found the time to provide fantastic service.Bravo Lauren!
Good food, delightful server. The young girl bartending did a great job and made our lunch visit very fun. The classic rock soundtrack from Pandora was awesome... It's sort of out of the way for my geography, but I'll be back

They are currently understaffed and the service was slow. The food was good and the waitress was very friendly. Seems to be more of a locals hangout and they were not openly friendly to us. Bar tender ignored us for a long time before finding a waitress. She did not offer to get us started with drinks. Probably will not visit again.P.S. the waitress was clearly overworked and seemed to be the only one waiting on tables both upstairs and downstairs.
