Todays service was perfect! Everything was great. Sandy was an awesome attentive server!
Went here with some friends for dinner and we were seated fairly quickly, which may have been the only good part of my visit. Our waitress spoke maybe 10 words the whole time. The service was extremely slow, which I can understand for a busy Friday night. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and the menu says it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. However, when I got my burger it did not include any of that. I wanted to send it back, but it was about 20 minutes before I saw our waitress again and by that point we were just ready to leave. I have included a photo of the burger I received. Overall, I would not eat here again.
Food was great. Service was acceptable for a busy weekend night. What almost ruined the experience? Why are you guys having hostesses interview customers about the menu? As I'm being led through a busy, loud restaurant, I'm being asked annoying questions about my favorite menu items. How bout you just let me sit down first, before you interview me?Find a better way to survey. Stick to grilling steaks, not your customers.
I ordered a slab of ribs but what they put in front of me was pieces and ends. A whole lot cheaper on their part when they're purchasing it from the butcher. The best part of my meal was the salad but with a date and drinks and a tip is the tip $60
Going out to eat always seems like a pain now a days because the service is terrible any where you go.. But I will drive completely out of my way to come here. Tonight we had Abby, and she was amazing and actually seemed like she loved her job. Steak was amazing too.
Great food! Everyone is helpful and friendly. Great prices.
We were really impressed with our 1st time visit to this location. Based on our experience with Texas Roadhouse in other cities we weren't in any hurry to rush to this one. When we actually went were very surprised starting with our waiter Ron. He was excellent. The steaks (porterhouse and ribeye) were also very good and cooked the way we wanted them, medium. The only small nit was the steak fries were cold when they arrived to the table. We won't hesitate to go again.
Really disappointed in the service and quality of food tonight. My sirloin was tough, and over seasoned with pepper. A food runner served our food. Our server never checked on us again. We sat for so long without drinks, and napkins in our plates, a manager walked by and asked us if we needed anything else. Just asked for our check so we could get out of there. We eat here often. Hope this was a one time occurrence, and not a sign another good steak house has run its course.
The place was pretty crowded on a Friday night (to be well expected) and the wait wasn't too long. It took about 30ish minutes until we were seated. Right away the staff were dropping and breaking plates left and right. The appetizer: We had a cactus blossom for a starter. The appearance was quiet small for the price and the sauce was different than what we usually get at Texas roadhouse. It tasted like it was ketchup mixed with tartar sauce. The main course: My significant other ordered the 8oz sirloin medium rare with shrimp. Her steak was overcooked, it was well done, yet her shrimp were undercooked and chewy (super dangerous and a good way to get food poisoning) her green beans tasted like it came from a can.I had the 12oz Ribeye rare, and with ribs. The ribs were overcooked and did not fall off the bone. The consistency was like shredded pork with Montgomery BBQ. It also only came with 3 ribs not even a half rack. The steak was well seasoned but not tenderized very well. Not juicy either. My baked sweet potato was pretty awesome. The loaded steak fries were good but NOT the bacon. It was like it came from the dog treat bag bacon and bits. The restroom : Very nice and clean. Sanitized regularly.Staff: The staff seemed very friendly and honestThe check: The pricing compared to our portion of food was very obviously overpriced, but you expect that at a decent steakhouse, especially the drinks !In conclusion: I give this place a solid 3 stars, it can do a lot better, but overall isn't the most terrible place I've been too. If you're going out and want strong drink and Texan styled food, the one in Kenwood is better than those in Kentucky!Response back to Owner: You did not let me down! You had a three star review. I always aim to help businesses in the restaurant industry achieve greatness with my reviews. Best of luck! My advice would be to sit down with your cooks in the kitchen and review how to properly prepare and cook good food. I understand when it gets busy, people get frustrated and want the food to be speedy, although sometimes it risks the integrity of the food. Keep up the excellent work.
Make sure you take your own silverware if you go to this location! We were given silverware that had dried food on the forks and knives here. Our waitress was embarrassed, as four different sets of silverware were brought to our table that were dirty. She made sure to mention that she is not the one who wrapped the silverware. The baked potatoes were so cold that the butter didn't melt on them and my sister's chili was cold. We brought this to the attention of the manager and she did offer to bring hot potatoes out, but did not offer a discount of any kind. I have to say this was very disappointing with the cost of food and I felt cheated of a good dining experience with my sister and her husband who were visiting from out of town. I don't plan to visit this location again. Cleanliness is a big thing to me and this was totally unacceptable.
