Curry chicken only have little bits of chicken in the curry not worth the price with only a lot of white rice that they put coleslaw in the same container. Told them to label my fried tilapia from the grill one, they didn’t and you can’t tell them apart. Order was missing second sides from each dinners. Chicken wings was dry and not hot like I asked. Very disappointed
I'm visiting Cincinnati and this is the only place I've been going to for the past week. For West African food, I am pleasantly surprised to find the food so affordable. And it's so tasty, with generous portions that last me for two days at a time. I am trying to work through the menu quickly before I return back NJ because I already know I can't get this kind of deal anywhere there. Love it.
OMGoodness, food simply delectable. This was our second time eating here. I had to force myself to try something different from the red snapper. I was so please to have oxtails, fufu, and cabbage. Superb!!!! My hubby had garlic wings which was awesome too. Let me tell you something, because of the amount of food you receive, I was able to take lunch two days in a row. Lawd, it was just as good as the first day. Heck if not better because the spices had time to settle. Had me licking my fingers lol #gainedloyalcustomers
Been sitting here over 30 mins never acknowledged as a dine in order. The food is always good but the spice(HOT) is either ok or too much… I normally brag about this place. Customer Service is definitely starting to lack.
Situated in an underwhelming street mall that you could easily miss, sits this hidden jewel of ethnic cuisine! We stopped, intrigued about west African food and encourage by the excellent reviews: Teranga doesn't disappoint. The menu is mainly Senegalese but has a few really good Jamaican favorites. The lady in the front was very helpful and patient at explaining the menu and suggesting favorites. There weren't many patrons when we came in but we chose to stay for our meal. The place got packed with folks mostly picking up to go. We felt comfortable with the cleanliness and distancing of the booths. I am just very happy to find food from places like Senegal. We definitely like the diversity in the gastronomy of our city and Teranga is a great addition. We had the Lamb but later a senegalese lady I met said to have the marinated chicken so I can't wait to get back to try it. The drinks are traditional juices and they are an excellent accompaniment for the beignets. My son had the seneburger! a tasty take on a classic You can't buy ingredients here, but just next door there is a store with african goods in case you want to give it a go to cook something for yourself later
Dinner last night was delicious full of flavor.Great food and great customer service.We order the Grilled Fish with Vermicelle, Lamb shank with couscous, and the Debe with Vermicelle. I will definitely recommend this restaurant! So do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant.
Wonderful food so full of flavor, we got the tilapia, Dibi, and chicken shared family style. Sides were lovely, shout out to the plantains. The staff were friendly and fast despite the rush. HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out!
I ordered the Thiebou Yap and it was delicious! I loved the combination of the generous lamb portion with the banana peppers and onions! My wife ordered the Jamaican Curry Chicken and it was very tender; we loved the flavor with the fried plantains and cabbage! Be sure to pick up a Ting while you’re here; it’s a carbonated grapefruit drink similar to sprite!
Food was good. Recommend ox tails . Even if some food stinks it still tastes good.
Y'all this food was so good. My wife amd I had a taste for something different and with out pork. We live in middle town Ohio where we don't have Authentic cuisine Food. My wife had the idea about African food. I told her say less and let's go. We came down to Cincinnati to this restaurant and before we walked in. The restaurant was already smelling good. My wife order fufu for the first time and Tilapia whole fish and Plantains. I order wings,lamb, rice greens and y'all I was so pleased on how they cooked the food. We will back very soon. Thank you
